Sit stand desks are great. When my portfolio was a bit more flush I made one with top quality swedish electric uprights and a 2.4m x 800mm solid oak custom made desktop. Lush. I spend most of my time standing, but beware, while standing has health benefits I have developed plantar fasciitis from standing too much!

I'm personably convinced that having meat particles in my bloodstream was the trigger for my Sarcoidosis - it's been in remission since I became a vegetarian. It may be coincidence, but a test to confirm would allow me to be sure. Since it nearly killed me I'd happily chow down a bacon butty and take one of these tests.

Tornadotony - yep, I'm in that group, lung scarring due to sarcoidosis. In remission now, but if it comes back I'll welcome anything that can stop me coughing until I black out with oxygen deprivation. Too many long term side effect from the steroids that are the usual treatment.
