Whatever your view on the morality or otherwise, and whether you'd be happy buying lithium from Afghanistan, whatever assets the Chinese get from Afghanistan are assets that they won't need to get elsewhere, so ultimately a reduction in demand for lithium from anywhere else, Cinovec included.
