Hi fleccy, i was amazed to hear that DT's average is above £4 , why only a complete and utter fool would pay that for BT.
No wonder the CEO of DT and mandy waste there life staring at a hole in the skirting board , hoping a mythical MOUSE will appear.
There is no fool like an old fool- eek eek mandy
Mandy- "Never mind, you lot will soon be focusing on keeping BT British."
Yes thats because we are not fifth columnists like you.
And our share average is not £5
Stop moaning , grow a pair and start supporting the BT employees that you invested all your money in at £5 a share
I have no sympathy for fools like you
Dont you worry Bain101 , our new CEO Alison Kirkby has already officially committed to stopping any foreign attempts at a takeover. my beloved CWU are in complete solidarity with her on this. This dream team will not be defeated. I know this will upset the fifth columnists like Mandy out there. Hey well thats tough , if you dont like it ...........good
Yes bertram i think mandy will have the answer to this one. As we all know he lost all his money , buying BT at £5/share , so he obviously understands buy (extremely) high and sell (unbelievably) low theory.
Hope our resident fool has more to offer this time ,than just repeating "bid is immanent", hes been saying that for over 2 years now. Change the record old fool.
OMG this thing really exists

I will hold off , till the SP gets to £2. Before trying it
Fleccy , can you make hot pants from this Global fabric?
Does anyone know when this tribunal ends? it is hanging over BT like a dark cloud. Lets get it done , one way or the other
Close , but no cigar. It was in fact Carl Douglas and Kung Fu fighting
🎶There were funky China men from funky Chinatown
They were chopping them up, they were chopping them down🎶

In fact it was a little bit frightening
Well done Kiwitwo on that old sell
Back then i knew many BT colleagues that were locked into 3/5 year share plans , and had to watch on , as their investment crashed down from £15/share .
Keep the faith , and remember we are playing the long game. 15 pound here we come
Back in about 2000 , when the dot.com bubble burst (google it) . BTs share price got to £15 per share (yes thats right 15 pounds)
This is from the tinternet - "However, after reaching 1,513p, within the space of three years BT’s shares had fallen to a low of 157p, following what was then record breaking £5.9 billion rights issue. What’s more, due to the size of this rights issue, BT’s management had to offer the new shares at a deep discount of 49% below the company’s share price on the day the cash-call was announced."
It was such a disaster for BT , they were forced into a fire sale , dumping assets to raise cash. They sold yellow pages (remember that), they sold the Cellnet mobile phone network , and they also sold of all BT property and leased it back.
So because i remember this ancient apocalyptic disaster (i had just joined BT) , i can confirm BT does not own the exchanges.
So if anyone thinks things are bad now , you dont know your born
OK , everyone's had a good hack at these topics , can we now , please , please stop doing politics/Brexit on this forum.
Surly we have a common concern to unify us. Our beloved BT SP is in a downward terminal tailspin , plus our competitors are plotting to build an alternative national network.
We're doomed , we're doomed i tell you
Aus3009 are you in fact Steve Bray..... You sound exactly like him
No one loves a sore loser
Hi IP3LY , have to be careful here as there is a poster that goes beserk , when these issues are discussed. Saveshare (and direct share) are excellent schemes for accumulating savings , on occasional years you can make a killing , but most of the time you just get your money back. Im told the schemes were introduced by Gordon Brown , when Chan of Exchek , to encourage workers to save more of their earnings.
On current schemes you get no additional interest to anything saved. With save share you will only get dividends once the scheme has matured , and you accept the option price , say after 3 or 5 years , depending on the length of your scheme. And yes i chose to take the 11739 shares of SS20 and paid them into a share ISA , and topped it up to its £20000 max. I still have a quantity of shares held by Equinity , which i hope to move to a share ISA next financial year , if thats possible.
The house is now paid for (thankyou BT) and according to Zoopla , it has increased in value by 110%- wey hey
Shame on Philip Jansen for cancelling the BT employee saveshare scheme , while accepting free shares worth millions
himself.
Hope that answers some of your questions.
IP3LY - Saveshare 20 , was the last scheme open for BT employees , and that matured last August (for the 3 year scheme)
I paid in £300/month x 36 months and got back 11739 shares at 92 pence a share.(seemed quite good back in August!!)
I also paid in the max in the 2009 scheme (option price 62 pence , i think.) That one paid for a Phat mortgage deposit. Ker ching , happier days
In Mandys latest gibberish filled diatribe , he states to Bertram " even though you harangued me and made me cry"
This is a grown man writing this bullsh ine , its a complete embarrassment every time he posts his repetitive . out of touch selfish views.
Mandy should never have been allowed to own shares , he has not got what it takes , he is constantly in a state of paranoia.
Thank you lovelyhorse , at last we have a contributor of decency , compassion and empathy. Bless you
We all know who you are referring to, Its Mandy. We have have been worried about the old s od , for some time now. Every time the SP goes down a penny he fills his pants. He rants out of control , repeating himself endlessly , like a gold fish with a 7 second memory. And all his "friends" seem to have told him to p iss off. It cant be easy for the old g it.
Please mandy get in touch with lovelyhorse or the CWU outreach operation , they are trained to deal with basket cases like you. They use high voltage electricity.
Remember mandy , a party of one is not a party
se****ng of bullies, look who is at at again. none other than our newly crowned blue balls. if hes not attacking me its fleccy , but his attacks on abject are way over the top , and relentless. it is disturbing to see his behavior.
blue balls claim to fame on here , seems to be endorsing every post mandy makes , a few minutes after it appears , thats all very odd. he seems to agree with out reservation with all of mandys lunatic , paranoid , repetitive rantings.
when mandy turns up , low and behold theirs blueballs , like a little dog following a big dog , sniffing its ****.
just say no to bullying , stop your cruelty , we see you blueballs
I salute you Bertram , for delivering the final coup de grâce , to our resident fool. It was wonderful to behold and a complete bulls eye. It reminded me of that time Willie Whitelaw took down Thatcher with his resignation speech in the commons.
My favourite bit is " I must apologise to others on this BB as I sometimes stood in your corner standing up for your right to an opinion. This was in error. You are in fact a miserable, thoroughly nasty, opinionated, vicious spiteful curmudgeon." ,he he he hilarious.
I was also rather moved by this one "You have a sense of "humour"... er no. More humour in my big toe.
"Arrogance" is all yours, you cornered the market there me old duffer. Blind to others opinion and rattle out of pram time if they dare differ from yours." Double hilarious. I cant get enough of this , Have you read this Abject.
Mandy this is from your best mate Bertie
Again i salute the Baird of this board , Bertram
