i see our very own walter mitty is at it again. terrified of the cwu , suffering from paranoia whenever they are mentioned. an adult (very old one) spending his time making up stories about engineers , complete nonsense from an embarrassing fool. no doubt the cheep bells whisky and aftershave ****tails are the main influencing factor for his deranged behavior and repetitive rants.
the question still remains mandy (his mothers name, you go figure), if you hate bt directors , workers , engineers and the ceo , why did you spend all your money paying ยฃ5.65 a share ( figure was verified by tag2.)
mandy time to get it into your thick skull , there is no bid coming anytime soon. buckle up we are in this for the long game. should be lots more opportunities for divi reinvestment , so fill your boots , you grumpy old g it. if you cant hack then get the hell out.
Many thanks mylovely and Abject on the ISA info
I heard a rumor that fleccy was doing a seminar on ISAs, fantastic i have a question.
I currently have a stocks and shares ISA , with its full allocation of ยฃ20000 for this financial year. I also have shares held by equinity (not in an ISA.) I would like to move these shares into an ISA ,in the next financial year.
Can i move these shares directly into a shares ISA , or do i have to sell them , and then purchase them back again into a shares ISA.(I suspect this would have tax implications)
Amy advice gratefully received , (Apart from you Mandy)
Savage you must never tell Mandy to "top up"
That is one of the many trigger phrases that send him into his wild, incomprehensible nonsense filled rants.
So just be careful what you say to the old gi t.
How nice of SOM to flood the board with his vacuous , out of touch and repetitive views. Every one an exact facsimile of the previous 100 posts he has made. They all seem to include the following;
An irrational and deluded belief , that there will be a bid (he he he he , that cracks me up every time)
A rather creepy fixation he clearly has on fleccy ,myself , Abject , Aus and more recently savage.
Completely paranoid about all things CWU , he actually believes the CWU could stop a takeover bid. (Bonkers)
Starts frothing at the mouth when ever fleccys blessed divi reinvestment theory is mentioned.
For some reason is terrified of long term investment plans.
Mandy, its Christmas the time of miracles , change your ways before its too late , repent brother , or else eternal damnation awaits. The CWU is offering you the pipe of peace , Happy Christmas Mandy. And try to remember , it's A Wonderful Life.
Abject , it Looks like your assessment of the cantankerous old git is spot on. Sozzled again. I bet his lipstick is smeared and his mascara is running and his cheap pink wig is all over the place. Just like that final scene in the film Psycho.
Roll on the ban
I had you down as more of a oompa Loompa , Mandy

Ease of the lithium and Bells , your getting paranoid again , You seem tense and fragile , like a pig in a abattoir.
Thanks for the reminder , i need to give Mr Ward his Christmas card.
Roll on the ban
I would like to apologise Savage , for Mandyโs shameful behaviour , he has no right to address you like that. He is our chat rooms village idiot. He lost all his money buying BT at ยฃ5.65/share , and is still bitter about it.
Please Savage could you try to explain to him the benefits of dividend reinvestment. He just doesnโt seem to get it.
Give him a few more days and Iโm sure he will be banned (again)
Roll on the ban. ๐ฝ
Ive just invested in Rwanda airways.
increased passenger throughput. So i hear
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!
Bring back SOM , all is forgiven
Roll on the bid.
Im just going to open this topic a tiny bit
Savage if you were up for election in a Parliamentary seat , with your views on immigration. Im certain you would lose your deposit in most seats.
Your vanity signaling views are out of touch with the current mood of the nation (and EU.) It is well intended but its just flowery nonsense, its just not reality.

Predictable from SOB
Hi Savage_Keyboarder , "Wow 650 office locations for workforce... by March they say down to 9!"
This has been going on for about 4 years now , referred to as the Better Workplace Programme. It was an idea from the (pretty boy) Gavin Patterson era. Several massive new buildings in major cities have been built, London, Birmingham Manchester , Cardiff, Dublin............. And people working in the region have been expected to relocate to the new buildings , this has resulted in many people taking voluntary redundancy capped at a max of 1 years pay. (that should cheer up SOM)
although this move may suit some , it has caused much unhappiness for many , that feel forced out of their job

I just wonder if the SP will accelerate upwards at the speed of light tomorrow, for the the fourth day in a row
Its all very odd
But Willy263 , only 2 weeks ago UBS set a target price of 115p

How can JP Morgan and UBS have such differing outlooks
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark - Hamlet
So does this mean Kintbury got his fingers burned trying to short BT? Or did he do ok?
Not sure i understand this shorting tactic.
Despite this , something is forcing the BT SP up faster than a Cadillac , i believe only Mary has the answers we seek.
