I agree with Claire. We seem to have a tussle between Marshall Wallace increasing their shorts and T. Rowe adding stock. It is very volatile and so just hang tight and see what Xmas brings us. Med - Long term I think will be very positive

So, why has the SP suddenly fallen this week with no real news? Perhaps because MW have announced another increase in their short holdings to 1.51% and so selling into the market slowly in smallish parcels to get the price down? This would make sense because the buy volume seems much larger than the sell volume ( at least those that are available to mere mortals like us ). This would again trigger stop losses, which accelerates the volatility because there are fewer buyers and so pushes the price down as we see. Best not to panic sell and let's wait for Christmas trading, though of course a disappointing week just as I was getting towards break even. Good luck everyone

Well, I have kept ASC a strong buy over the last 2 weeks and topped up as I said between 23-24.20 to average down my purchases in the high 30s. All the bad news must be out of the way now, even the CEO leaving! Marshall Wallace cleverly increased their shorts to 1.21% on 19th Oct, so must either close some of them to reduce losses, or increase their position hoping the price will drop. All very dangerous ! If you remember, I did say last Thursday that I thought someone (hedge fund?) were selling stock so that they could mop up cheap shares. I also see that Marshall Wallace have recently increased their short to 1.21%, so must be feeling the urge to buy back and close their short. I have resisted the urge to sell today, as I am still below my break even point, but certainly glad to have topped up at £22 & £23... Good luck everyone

Seems like someone is manipulating the price, scaring the retail guys into selling, then mopping up the cheap shares.... any views?

Having bought recently from £39.90 down to £23.10, I have had to dig deep not to sell up. I have huge faith in this company and new it would start to recover it's share price, but truly shocked today from starting at a loss (again) and people queuing to dump the stock, to a great recovery (so far). Well...like as lot of people, just sat here for a couple of hours this afternoon to see AWE go into freefall. Reasons:- FT article, shorts, stop losses taking place, PANIC and yes the suspension around 4.20pm induced more panic leading to further price pressure.
I have 1000 @£3.80 and not selling. Worse case scenario is a total loss, but I don't think this is going to happen. My plan is to see what happens tomorrow morning and top up to reduce my av price down. Obviously very disappointing, but not going to rush into doing anything stupid. We are pawns in a much bigger game... good luck people

Well....lots of very informative information here today. Like most of you, I am disappointed with the recent fall in SP, however, quite understandable with all the negative press, possible investigation by the US and difficulties in exporting to the EU.. So, we have to wait till results day and even hold on waiting for positive news ticking up the price. If it does fall below £3.00, then be prepared to top up and keep your nerve....Easier said than done, esp watching screens. Good luck people

However, decided not to have all my eggs in one basket and bought Carnival Cruises over the last 2 trading days in the expectation of a return to cruising 2022.....They are actually going in the right direction as bookings are surging....

Hi all.. Like most people here, I am concerned about the price drop lately and continued depressing news. However, I am looking ahead 6 months and also topped up this morning around the 312.5 price. History will show if that was wise!....good luck everyone

Glad to have been right on Monday, topping up Boo when the price dropped 5% for no apparent reason. For the last two weeks I have reiterated this to be a strong BUY. Great tactics buying Debenhams and the left overs from Arcadia. Debenhams in particular will generate huge sales from a new middle aged online audience that would not bother looking at Boohoo....watch this space people...Good Luck people

I agree with Mr Moose on the upward charge of Boo... I said this last week at 145p and reiterated everyone to hold their nerve and not sell. This NOT Gamestop and 400p is well within sight... Good luck everyone

This is the 1st time I have posted on here and think that the purchase of Debenhams Intellectual Property and customer base is a brilliant move. They kept it out of the spotlight while the fight was going on for Topshop and have ended up buying it for a bargain £50m or so. Yes, the price will go up and down daily, but this seems to me the turning point into making Boohoo a mainstream company. The derampers such as Moose can carry on spouting whatever he wants, but history will be his judge. Good luck everyone
