Yes poor chap can't see the wood from the trees, meanwhile back in the real world SP targeted down again in late trading. Not too optimistic about tomorrw, I know the figures will be good but departing boss not going to announce anything apparently and new boss not due until Oct. so I think we have to wait till then :-( Back in the bunker I fear.

At close today in Dublin the ask price was 6.95, the bid price was 6.93, AND YET the close SP was only 6.902, more rigging than a tall ship as I say! This truly is a very special share!

And today every other bank share is up about 1% or 2%, including Stoxx600, and we are down again! But then, how could it rise if the ask price is always the same as the SP? Only way is down as we have seen, I wrote to BoI about this lack of support today... we live in hope! Almost half the value of AIB.

Back to being the worst bank share in Europe today, expect more of the same this week before announcement of good results and dividend on Friday, anything to keep the price down, particularly if there are any economic shocks in the interim.

Agree, because these parisites want to stay invested here and also lower the price, I believe that they are selling from the left hand into the right at a syncronised discount, particularly on the big trades. There are three periods when this ramping down happens most, around 8.30, lunch, and 1600 on. BoI should buy up these cheap shares when this dumping is goin on and that would put a stop to it. However whoever and why ever, they have big resources. IMO.

Well the same ass holes are still doing the same manipulation, so don't expect any change for a while yet, particularly coming up to the results in ten days! Oh yes, and worst SP in banks today and ten times worse than AIB.

It's strange, the value of volume here is only about a tenth of what we used to be before consolidation, it's as if nobody cares!

Buybuy... certainly makes sense of their behaviour and the short term is defined as until the government sell its 14%, on the cheap! Then we will fly, SP up to the value of AIB and being the better bank beyond, however very bumpy times ahead and of course the share could just defy their manipulations.

Thanks Charlie, but an almost 4% drop in 36 hrs. in a national pillar bank is not explicable by such vague prospects, this is the only bank in Europe that has behaved in such a fashion, 4% to me is a monstrous reaction! It's twin, AIB is unchanged! This is SP manipulation at its worst and must be stopped!

Thank you for the heads up John. As I said earlier the downward pressure is still in evidence! However something that might really make a difference here is the disposal of the remaining 14%, NTMA clamouring for remaining Gov stakes in banks to be sold down soonest, that is the final step hopefully in the liberation of the SP, we already know our results and prospects are good.

Yes Congemi, they haven't gone away, I too can see similar pattern in manipulation. However some good results and news will help.

Consolidation happens at the close today, new shares trading on Monday, would like to think it's the start of something ! GLA.
