Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
In hindsight when the pandemic started there were several companies and sectors that were always going to do well. Pets at home, hallfords, private hospitals and home delivery services not to mention providers of covid related equipment. There were always going to be those who struggled RR being one of them. Its a no brainer that as the travel sector improves it will help RR but I believe what will be the key factor is its ability to lead the way with nuclear power. Probably will be one of the biggest risers over the next few years and the conference in Scotland next week should be the real start as countries pledge targets even if it is lip service for now. Short term Share price often has little to do with performance and more to do with charts and I can't see where the share is at re oversold, undersold, support and resistance as these will only impact short term but don't really care. The more short sellers who get burnt the better and I would hope that when it starts to move it will fly. Could be wrong but for my 7 years SIP plan sake I hope not as I have a decent number of shares even though they are at 1.10 average.
I would hope the wording around an additional rights issue are checked by the FCA. People have purchased shares after statements were made. Money lost and made but if there are no material changes since the statements were made then action should be taken if suddenly money is now needed. Too often statements are made and there should be accountability and individual penalties if there has been deception. Not saying there is but too often institutions make statements without foundation and not consistent with the wider market. They get away with this because they can. Needs to change.
Heading for levels when the pandemic set in. Is there an end in sight to the constant falls. Vodafone are buying up millions of their own shares daily. Clearly there is no shortage of sellers offl loading and not sure apart from vodafone if there are volumes of buyers or the share price would stabilise. Halt bonuses until they can deliver shareholder value.
If there is good newscoming love to hear it. No one would take on a 30b debt but rhe debt is too high.
The company needs to not ask for more funds. Its had sufficient time with shop openings. Needs to make cost savings as other businesses do. I am sure their head office would be a great start. Can see another casualty unless they can turn this around quickly as with constant 3% daily falls its just a matter of time. Sometimes its best not to keep pumping cash in when it simply gets squandered away to pay bank loans etc and the shareholders are left with nothing. Just annoyed I didn't offload around 90p. Now 50% of that and still falling. Just my thoughts and probably different to others but having gone through similar with other companies only to see them fold anyway I won't be giving them another penny
This is now almost 50% off recently highs. The company needs to restore shareholder value. They don't seem to compromise in paying bonuses to those unable to bring shareholder value. Lets see the renumeration packages and then see if the company is being fleeced. Its time again for them to deliver or step aside. Lets hope they can. Down fkloads and falling further each day. All the positives for the recovery have delivered huge share price falls.
Sold out at a large loss. No chance with good companies while tw___ts like those working at usb manipulate the markets the way they do. Will look again later at RM as its a great company but who knows how low this will go now. Its clearly in freefall and for no reason.
The regulator should force companies like these to evidence why they are so different to the rest with their upgrades and downgrades and then check on who their clients are. Has a short pisition been taken just before the fall or are their key clients who need yo get out and need the price to come down. Checks are not done and these pathetic companies continue to manipulate the price. There is no rwson for this to fall. Lead up to Xmas and RM will have a bumper. I just hope that the market works against their clients and they get burnt big time. That's the only way it will stop come on RM. Rally again soon
They are no different to the other large brokers who have hidden agendas. Certainly impacting on the markets. This is tanking and the best thing that can happen today is for the markets to close to give it a breather.
I wonder which of USBs clients are sitting on huge short positions and need to get out. There is no reason to listen to them as they make baseless upgrades and downgrades to suit themselves and try and influence the market. Either they know something no one else does or why has everyone not downgraded RM. They are not corrupt just manipulate and are big enough to influence the market.
The markets have spoken and the price is heading south fast. No more capital raising. Its like throwing cash down the drain. If the company may cant make it now they never will. Long term shareholder with around 15k tied up but I won't be giving another penny to the company as I think it too would be lost. Just hope they can for once deliver.
hether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

What is a penny stock?
Penny stocks or penny shares are common stock that trade with a share price below £1 in the UK and below $5 in the US. The companies will also have a market cap below £100 million in the UK, and below $300 million in the US. As they are small, low-valued businesses, they offer higher risk and reward to traders.
Penny stocks are regarded as a more speculative investment than larger businesses because they are geared for growth, with many yet to generate any income or develop a viable product or service. In the UK, penny stocks are listed on the FTSE Alternative investment market (AIM) index.
