anybody got any ideas why the sp rose to 34.45 this morning the dropped back
these interest rate rises do nothing to ease inflation they just add fuel to the fire.
What causes inflation is when everyone spending so much on things that the price of these things go up due to supply and demand. But the price of these things are not going up because we are buying more but because of the rising energy costs and all the things going on in Ukraine& Russia .
Putting up the rates is just making the situation worse and punishing everyone for no good reason.
we wont spend less on these things because we have to buy these things (bread, Butter, Milk, Bean etc Petrol, gas, electricity) to live.
Ba announce they are cancelling 100 flights on the day of the Queens funeral because they don't want to make a lot of noise that day. The real reason is they they will not have enough staff that day as they will all have the bank holiday Monday off. As if the ever care about how much noise they make .
Interim results RNS on 27th September. Looks like its gonna be good sp on the rise already
its all a disgrace to be sold out for so little. Does anyone know how this is going to work. Will the meagre 1.10 per share suddenly appear in my account as my share holding disappears or what and when
I hung on in hope for too long and didn't expect this totally damaging RNS.
I think this is the end I sold with a big loss though I imagine there are some out there with even bigger losses.
If more shares are issued as hinted at in the RNS then this will collapse to almost nothing.
If it goes into administration all holders will be wiped out . Then it will be bought out on the cheap by a new company and be a non listed private company. like what happen to McCall's convenience stores. Good luck if your still holding
we got through brexit that only really affected England then we got through the pandemic and I expect quite a few of us made some decent profits on the ups and downs (I did) and just as we were recovering Putin started his war.
At first it looked like it might last maybe six months or more but now its affecting the whole world economically.
I cant see an end to this this could carry on for years and its not doing the environment any good either with all the bombs and many countries will have to carry on burning coal for power. This could be the start of the end of the world as we know it as economy's of countries collapse one after another. As for Lloyds they are heading back to 40p the management just line their own pockets all the time. What happened to all the dividends that were withheld and if they have bought back so many shares then the dividends should be higher but they are not they are pathetic.
A rise straight up what's happening anyone with any incite.
Lets have some chat here please just filter the idiots
the report is out but it is very vague on the sale bids.
otherwise its all an improvement on last year and no dividend again.
If you have shares its now time to vote on the boards proposals' .
Vote to stop them buying back their shares and stop them paying bonuses and free shares to the BOD.
we are all kicking ourselves for not selling. Its so easy in hindsight but its not over yet its just the media going on and on about the( cost of living crisis) their made up little catchphrase and how we are going into recession.
If you've been out and about pubs shops theatres and the like are full. the petrol might be dear but their are queues at the pumps. we have survived 2 years of covid and no recession we will weather this the same. Someone still might buy ted Yet.
Ba workers are balloting for strike action in the summer. The Ballot ends the 23rd of June with result the same day.
The workers are furious the 10% pay cut imposed during the pandemic has not been reinstated but the bosses have had all theirs reinstated.
They better pay up now . Even though I own these shares I agree with the workers
