the markets are going crazy today .
The ftse has risen 40 points on opening and it was already high. Yet Taylor Wimpey reporting good results goes down.

Just now on Ian King sky interview first SMR unit will be ready not before 2030. A long time to wait for some profit from sales.

there are still 5 million unvaccinated people out there so covids got plenty of new customers yet.
This will never get back to 7 pounds again now there are so many more shares after the rights issue.

Nice to see a rise at last. the good news is filtering through hopefully a mention in the weekend financial papers.

Bellway report their results tomorrow and hopefully they will be just as good as Barratts last week that lifted our sp with it.
so maybe a rise with their news as well.
A further up date from TW. on the 11th November on the positive side and the dividend paid the next day should see this rise a fair amount.

yes coolelbenji American non farm payrolls and and the unemployment rate and hourly wage earning can all have a huge impact on all the markets if the figures are significantly above or below predictions. These reports are due today at 1.30 pm.

reply to the couchman . yes you could sell your shares now and you would still get the dividend. though I would hold as they are going up now.

you've missed the boat you should have bought in at 1.45 70 yesterday the only way is up now on way to dividend pay date 12th November and next trading update 11th November.
One of the directors bought 104,293 pounds worth of shares the day before dividend day at 1.48,99 per share.
so obviously he's pretty confident the prise will rise. your dreaming if you think this will go down t to 1.25

On the last ex dividend date 1st April the share price rose by 10p in the following days instead of falling 4.14p or more
Lets hope the same thing happens this time.
If not just hold this is a solid company and on the 11th of November there will be a update and I wont be surprised if they announce a special dividend. The net day 12th this 4.14 dividend will be paid and the price will go through the roof!

each time they dropped I spread bet them long and made 7 profitable trades and still hold all my shares.

my god this is a so boring share to hold.
Even when it does go up the spread is so large its not going to be easy to make any profit.
