So a letter to the PM of Mongolia is going to do the job.And Matad is sitting on material info.
There is no cure for stupidity. How can there be? A stupid person has no insight into his own
condition and cannot be enlightened therefore. Final comment to the relief of all, moi aussi.
Well clearly you have not learned very much. And you suffer from an immature proclivity to jump to very unrealistic and fantastic conclusions.Any comments I make are based on the information contained via an RNS which if contained falsehoods of material consequence could result in criminal prosecution,a point you clearly fail to appreciate.
What evidence do you have of fraud? Serious charges.Matad should sue the ass off you but I assume they have more serious business than deal with such an ill-informed nobody.
I know it is hard for you but I have been nothing but consistant in my posts And cite the RNS's that have been misleading or deceitful.Such misinformation could be criminal and would subject Matad to British law, not a pleasant prospect. You cowardly malign honest people on not even hearsay evidence but simply because they are not in a position to tell you what you want to hear.
It would be silly and childish were it not so malicious.
First of all there is no agreement but while it is taking an inordinate amount of time on what grounds would the appropriate authorities wish to scupper one? Why would they act in such a
manner? Mongolia has committed to abide by the norms of international law with respect to private property and if they wish to assume beneficial ownership of Matad they must provide
appropriate compensation to all private share owners.Otherwise the govt would be considered an international pariah and unfit for international investment.Lots of history on that score.Don't know what you are talking re: Dubai et al but any agreements would be subject to same legal standards of international law. Simply put human beings act and that act to improve their circumstances.
How would nationalization/confiscation/theft of Matad's property be of benefit to Mongolia. It would be telling the world that the Mongolian govt cannot be trusted and an unfit location for international investment. Hardly a rational course of action.
Because like Matad but on a larger scale it has a substantial investment in Mongolia which could
be subjected to the same treatment by another or same govt. If your going to head down the nationalization/confiscation of private foreign property why stop with Matad and private foreign
investor would wish to expose itself to the risk of such theft/confiscation of its investment. DYOR
to you.
clearly does not understand that India would be very disturbed to say the least if Matad's assets were stolen by the Mongolian govt ie without compensation. And how would Mongolia be better off.It would be an International pariah where foreign investors were liable to have their property
stolen at govt wim. Autarchy does not work to say the least.Mongolia does not want to be a
North Korea. And in order not to be it must respect the norms of the rule of law, property rights etc.
are very insightful and raise serious concerns about the future of Matad. However It must be noted that Matad is a cash poor company but not an asset poor company. The CPR confirmed that Matad has
now beneficial ownership of substantial "reserves" as opposed to "resources." These reserves
are cash in the bank once the EL is confirmed. Which begs the question as to why relevant
authorities would want to frustrate the granting of the EL? All indications lead to the conclusion that such is not the case and to reject the application would in effect be confiscation without compensation.Such a development would clearly not be in the interests of the Mongolian govt.
which seeks to establish itself as a reliable location for foreign investment. None-the less the process has been frustrating for Matad and individual shareholders (I have been at this for what will soon be 11 yrs.)But I still have confidence in MB and Matad Board.Surely they are well aware of conditions "on the ground" in Mongolia and have the development of Matad into a producing
oil company as their sole concern. What would motivate the Mongolian govt. to want to deny the EL at this late juncture? I am very well versed in govt.corruption at all levels having worked in the public sector in various incarnations for 50 yrs (clearly with some concurrent positions.) Aslo I have
substantial academic background in history, economics, economic regulation etc. I don't know it all unlike some on this board but I am not a noviciate in these matters. All IMHO.
Bloody fool. How does anyone understand everything about anything? And reaching that blessed
state of perfect knowledge I must therefore know you because you have arrived there also.
Pretentious nonsense extremists.
MB has a legal obligation to inform all shareholders as soon as he has any information which would be classified as insider information, material to stock performance as soon as he becomes aware of same. There is no benefit in directly contacting the company therefore. We are all entitled
to be made aware of hitherto undisclosed info.at same time. That is the purpose of the RNS.It is a
legal requirement of LSE listing.
is the new Manroe. Not a clue about Mongolia, about Matad, about MB and his team.
Okay should not pay any attention to Manroe madness. If there is any poster on this board who is completely out of touch with reality it is he.His attacks on MB and management are baseless and
at best silly. At worst slanderous.Give it up you silly fool.
We can say that it was not negative to MATAD'S circumstance otherwise MB would have provided
copy. A new govt has been formed so business has resumed. There is no reason why the matter
should not be dealt with soon. And remember Matad is now a company with tangible assets as
resources have become reserves as a consequence of the CPR which lays out the parameters for
delineation the latter. There will be no funding problems with reserves determined.
for determination of reserves vs resources.
Is determined by the value of tangible, marketable assets at the end of the day.And it is not only small caps stocks that irrational valuations.Ever hear of Telsa.
Unlike the rest of us he and Manroe have direct knowledge of MB'actjvities or lack thereof. They
are not pleased with MB sans evidence. The delay is unfortunate but not arising from an manifest
evidence. An auto-de-foi is required.
They cannot " run the clock down" on the beneficial ownership of private property in international
law. What would be the point from a Mongolian perspective? To become another North Korea
rather than another South Korea is hardly an inviting prospect. All indications are that Mongolia
has made the the latter choice.
is a buffoon big time. All govts everywhere are corrupt. The only question is whether the level of corruption is manageable from a private sector/investment perspective. It would appear the answer is yes here because there is a lot of foreign investment flowing into the country including India's investment in the much anticipated oil refinery. The termination of the EL process
would be an act of confiscation without compensation, an act of theft/pircay in International law
and would mean Mongolia is choosing autarky over international investment. Also it should be noted that Matad via the CPR has moved from the ownership of resources to actual reserves within
the stated parameters. This means the company is the beneficial owner of substantial private
property and would under international law be entitled to compensation. What exactly would be the point of confiscation with no compensation for Mongolia in this context. All of which is clearly
beyond Manroe's pay grade (easily breached methinks.)
and his repeated silly statements..What is the nonsense, the candy that Matad makes available to keep the supposed illusion going. All RNS issued have been factual.Any conclusions drawn have
been reasonable and not calculated to entrap the naive, sophmoric investor. That is not to say there is no risk. But it does not arise from the contents of Matad's RNS presentations. Also I thought Manroe was in Ulan Bator getting matters right with the Pres.of Mangolia unlike MB.
It is clearly not in Mongolia's interest to drag the issuing of the EL out. This is new ground that is being broken.Given the principals in Matad it is difficult to conceive the delay as an attempt tp drive Matad into the ground.Surly it would send a very hostile message to the international investing community and there is no indiction that this is theire intent.Respect for capital investment and private property is a sine qua non for any country seeking foreign investment.
Manroe is an uninformed noviciate playing outside his playpen. He seems to have a problem with MB's management although an objective reading of the current RNS does not indicate that MB
is not up to the task.Quite the contrary IMHO.But I always end on a note of 'I could be wrong.'
Silly boy.
is not necessary.Matad is an asset rich but cash poor company and would have no trouble accessing funding in the marketplace on the basis of moving very quickly to production.
