Moniman......it was to provide an opposite view to all those who were ramping this company to the heavens.

Although I have to admit in recent weeks and months the vast majority of them seem to have 'seen the light' and therefore their constant 'beatification' of the company has greatly dissipated. Many will have had enough of the dynamic duo's extracting the urine, and either sold up or realised that ramping this company is a forlorn exercise.

West Newton is looking more and more like a damp squid, but one that can be played out for many years to come to the detriment of shareholders whilst only a handful still profit greatly.

Many companies if they want to try to hide away poor news in their annual statement do so in the mid or late sections of the report, especially with statements that could be deemed as detrimental to future proceedings.

Is it possible that Reabold have produced the opposite with today's announcement on West Newton, details which are released very early on in the chairs opening? The second paragraph is very revealing by dealing with a 'possible' third party involvement, added to the fact that there will be no movement on future drilling (if any) at West Newton until the final tranche of cash is released by Shell at the year-end. It is very interesting with the company obviously hedging all their options. And one option is not to proceed at all!

A very disturbing report, and one that makes me pleased only by the fact that I have only a small holding and losses to my portfolio will be small.

I am always suspicious of private limited companies arriving on the scene over time with banking accounts in places like the Virgin Islands Jersey and the Isle of Man. The California Attorney General is defending the state agency, which disputes Petitioner’s claims. On December 22, 2022, the Superior Court issued an order finding CEQA deficiencies, and directing the state agency to rescind its approval of the project. Reabold will appeal the Superior Court’s order. At this time, it is unclear when the litigation will be resolved.
