Rodster you are half correct. I am still in here, but nowhere near the amount I think others have. So I feel quite relaxed. Can many others be as relaxed....I think not.
RE: If they pay it all in a capital29 Jun 2018 13:40
If anyone believes that the major institutional investors agreed a deal last September/October 2017 that would only realise them a measly 2.5p premium almost 1 year later they are wrong in my opinion. Are all 165 million shares in the hands of investors, I think not. Anyone contemplating selling now have not really done their research as to where this company is heading in the near future. OMO.
This in my opinion is for day trading as most do not want to wait for 'donkey's years' for dividends (if they come). To expect the latter is 'pie in the sky'. AIM is littered with companies where the directors and their buddies are getting very nice little annual remunerations 'thank you very much'. If anyone believes that they are running a company primarily for their shareholders then really there is no hope for them.
afrc...I agree that we were told that the court case would be in May (it was May 1st) with return of funds in June (now seems to have disappeared). I also am not happy about the board not being consistent. However I believe there may well be a reason for this ie a t/o or a j/v in the offing. If this is true then a wait of a few more weeks may yet prove very lucrative. G.L.
I totally agree with your comments. We have been travelling in a sideways market for the last few weeks. In my opinion this consolidation will end with a rise in the near future. We both know that increased production facilities are now on stream to provide volumes. Just a matter of when not if this company starts to make substantial returns. Also worth noting that Tom Black has previously taken fledgling companies into t/o situation. Look at the sale of Detica to British Aerospace for hundreds of millions of pounds. Not ramping, just factual.
Kiwi_....I understand the accounts alright. I also know that 'creative accounting' can delay introducing figures into the books (legally) that may be at odds with what your final destination needs to be. If you get my drift?
Hmm sure a better name would be Sunrise Exploration Inc. got to say this whole 'California dreaming' exercise looks to be predicated on a substantial rise in oil price. Big gamble in my opinion.
Chris you know as well as I do that the directors of companies like these see what is going on months before the other investors, and usually they 'take care of matters' to lesser their exposure should matters take a turn for the worst, if you get my drift. Therefore "their skins" are a lot less prone to harm.
Actually futures for crude oil for the next 12 months show a slight decline in prices by July 2019, so 100$ a barrel by the year end is just wishful thinking on your behalf.
francobrett, I'm very sorry I can't up my game until next month. I have gone on message that I believed that the s.p would be 0.85p by the end of June. I have to admit that I was widely optimistic as to where RBD would be heading by now, and apologise profusely if I have unwittingly misled anyone. I can however take comfort in knowing that many others are far more culpable than me in that regard lol.
Don't be fooled, there's more overhang here than with Bette Midler. Chris, my projection of 0.85p for the end of next week is looking far too generous. Can we have an update were everyone is please, I need a good laugh.
