Mickvic...not sure what the hourly rate (per post) is nowadays, but it will not be insignificant.

For me would be that production would be moving onto a 24x7 shift system like the continuous ones operated by the steel and glass manufacturing industries. At present I think that they are perhaps not even operating on a weekend. Does anyone know? Of course there will be downtime for repairs or preventative maintenance, but I would like to know what the actual planned production hours per week are.

kenniGT......I have done a lot of in depth research over the years. I believe I have a good insight into the long term measures that S & S are pursuing, and at present not all in the garden is rosy. We will soon see how rosy in the Annual accounts due shortly. The companies involved with S & S (some private limited) are becoming more numerous as the years pass by and it will not end soon. California was included as they know that production is a certainty there, so is a good addition to be able to say to punters 'we are making money'. However it will be many years, if any, where sufficient profits are generated to pay back the initial capital costs and the expensive clean up which will follow.
That they have put so much into West Newton that it must be a worry to them, in case it's not a Commercial success. Hence the 'need' to become involved in more and more other companies, as an insurance hedge.
They are very clever operators and I hope they are successful. But be under no illusions, making money for you and I is nowhere near the front of their thoughts. For a new potential investor I say this, spend a few days (not hours) to put together a picture of Reabold Resources the parent, and its many 'offspring'.

BarkingCrazy......I have shares I have held in a number of companies for years. I am in no hurry, and if RBD or should I say West Newton comes good then it will multi-bag. That is not for now I agree. All the other 'plays' that the dynamic duo have running in parallel with W.N are in my opinion just decoys; with perhaps more to come. Keep the 'pot boiling' as some would say.
The O & G exploration industry is full of directors who have made lucrative earnings over many years without returning a single penny to share-holders.

James.....by substantive I mean news that alludes to the Commerciality of the project, not may, possibly, could, perhaps etc. I foresee none relating to Commerciality, that is going to mean the success or failure of the project.
The RNS today only tells us the rough timings of what we already know is going to happen. Hence the current SP.

Archie.........the question for me is this.
Over the next few months the company will have to not only perhaps dip into their own pockets (ours in reality) but come back to the market for substantial financing for ongoing and possibly new j/v project in Romania. Will it be in 1 huge placing or 2 smaller ones. Not sure myself but it/they are coming, along with the accompanying dilution. The expected next months results may be an indictor. Forget any substantive news on West Newton for the foreseeable future.
OMO and await the usual flak from Rubey and his ramping sycophants.
