gkb47....you've about nailed it there. If this , West Newton is not a huge Commercial viable success, then in today's environment it will only become a fire sale/distressed asset. I hope not. The first indicator that not all is well would be both RBD and UJO trying to delay matters for years by saying they need more drills (meaning time and money, ie placings) to further evaluate the 'true' potential. If that occurs it should be seen as a large red flag.

Sapper Taff........the market is waiting for news that will give its investors confidence that the company will ( note not possibly or maybe) provide concrete evidence whereby the sale of oil/gas is deliverable as a Commercial proposition. That means it's only really gamble until then, and why it's classed as high risk, and trading is the only way to make money until that occurs.
That applies to all stock not only UJO.

The prime indicator to me that substantial orders are flowing in will be this. A move in production from a 5 day week shift system to a continuous 24 hour 7 day a week full shift system.
The output increase from that situation would obviously not just increase the number of items produced, but would through plant utilisation increase unit profitability margins. More staff of course would be needed; adverts for jobs would flag this up.
