Let's look at a house builders assets. Take Persimmon for an example, they will have a book of land that they own that can be developed worth hundreds of millions of pounds. And as we all all know land and houses only appreciate in value. Now take RBD, they have parcels of exploratory oi; and gas fields. If those fields turn out to be commercial unviable for production then they are worthless. There is NO intrinsic value.

I will expand on what you have just stated about Victory, particularly with reference to the huge financial clout that any prospective purchaser will have to have; well above the pay grade of RBD, many many multiples of their cap. But hey the rampers will be unable or unwilling to absorb that fact. Also the Tee joint that belongs to Total will be another hurdle to overcome. Without that facility forget Victory. It will not happen.
