still can't believe Tullow shareholders have to wait until May 2024 for locked in low oil price hedging to end, these high oil prices are almost meaningless now as 75% of all oil sales are effectively sold for around $70 something for 2022/23 and 2024 50%... impossible to make hay while the sun shines it seems. just seen EnQuest's hedging its even worse. I wonder what the SP would be without any hedging for 2023/24. what do you all feel about it ?

SP been driven into the ground, many angry LTH and rightly so.. but now UKOG is only 16 mill market cap?? this is too low. Certainly upside potential

let me guess Arnold... you sit with a calculator at think ...oh if oil hits $120 then Tullow makes $120 x 60 kboepd wow im rich ? did you read the report "A material hedge portfolio protects c.75% of forecast sales volumes to May 2023 and 50% from May 2023 to May 2024" they spent 150 million on hedging. in fact they have more hedges than the Chelsea flower show. Its great to protect the company but, you will vomit losing all that profit when the oil price goes supersonic.

problem is from the recent trading update is if oil hits $120 then most shareholders will feel pretty sick as its mostly all hedged away at low oil price. they need new oil to see major upside or buy out someone or wait 1 maybe 2 years for hedges to end. still think they are doing a good job, maybe calm down a little on hedging in 2022 and talk more about reducing debt as fast as possible.

Can't wait for this permit phase to end next week and drilling to commence. 2016 and 2021 SP movement was crazy both times touching 4p. I expect 2022 sp to be so much higher with $90 oil and a crazy high 50% chance of hitting oil. been waiting soo long for this to happen again. Super positive.

surely the market will call bs on this "intent to sue" certainly expecting the share price to rise hard based on huge upside.

how can an intent to sue letter go anywhere when the Government have already approved it? this is a joke !

The CBD is a not-for-profit environmental activist group in the U.S.. https://www.biologicaldiversity.org/campaigns/ BLM are very broad on campaigns, its there job to be activists....wolfs, bats, jaguars, polar bears, amazon... seems they trying to stop many different projects around the world... if it was someone local raising this issue then fair enough, but these guys are in Arizona ? they have to spend their funding on something. seems a bit weak to me. 88e have done nothing wrong. standard stuff.

downside if no drill then rip to 0.90-1.20 upside news flow drilling pre results in March 4p-7p upside if they hit oil (reports say 50% chance) 15p-50p (based on how much oil is down there)

drilling in 2016 share price spiked to 4p ... drilling in 2021 again 4p. now Oil is so much higher $80 this has to be at least 6p-8p PRE RESULTS in feb. If you are new to the stock, most people specific to 88e are betting on History repeating a 3rd time, this is not some wild speculation, 4p for a 3rd time is just very expected hence the major spike. now holding your position when final drilling results comes early march, well that's the big gamble. coin flip for another x3 maybe instant 25p? or if it fails be aware it will RIP down 60-80% in hours. I personally sold pre results last year.... but this year i don't know, I just feel they could do it.

.......they still have no drill booked at all ??? normally there is a 6 to 9 month wait after you book and we are in January... they just have go karts doing seismic surveys, why would the sp x2 from a survey RNS? we all know there is helium down there already? its not like 88e who are drilling next month where the sp should x2 in 30 days. Biggest issue with HE1 is a major fund raise is needed (maybe a 15% rip) to do a proper set of drills that could cost 8-12 mill for 3-4 holes unless they decide use another piece of wrong cheap equipment to drill the worlds largest helium deposit. keeps people like me away for now. I'm not into large 30k fund raise donations. If DM does a fund raise, books the right drill. happy to pick up 2-3 mills shares (again). maybe even pick up the phone to Rahul Dhir at Tullow ask Him if he fancies a bit of helium and spread the costs. Tullow are into the net zero thing. I still agree that the sp will go back into the teens and 20's but only when fully funded and maybe 60 days prior to drilling not 260 days

sp hit 4p in 2021 while drilling and 4p 2016 while drilling. that's history. it will do it again. check the charts vs the rns.

im back in, wasn't sure when the sp would start to rise into the drill, but now seems the time.. 2016 huge sp spike before drilling, 2021 another huge sp spike before drilling....... 2022 with a very high chance of hitting oil... sp will spike again. no brainer. no ramping needed.... going by history... then history will probably repeat a 3rd time.. expecting to see at least 4p as per the sp in 2016 and 2021 before results. will also add over 22,000 people on stocktwits following this.

Anyone know the answers to this ? How much will it cost to drill with this bigger kit ? When will they place the order for the drill, DM said 6-9 months wait After they order the drill.... so they need to place the order now !!! ??? ? Also when will they fund raise for this... before drill (now ish)? during the drill (june-sept) ? after the drill (end of q4/2022) ?

So they have no drill at the moment and no drill booked, DM said minimum 6-9 months wait for one. They have 10 mill in the bank which is great and funds the some of the drilling but DM indicated in the interview that a fund raise could happen? so if dilution comes, could it be in the coming weeks when they sign the contract for new drill ?? or maybe next year? anyone have any insight in this ?

Debt in the oil business is a stupid idea now. We may have high oil price for just a few years, FD needs to wake up, times have changed...Throw everything at that debt pile get rid of ALL OF IT ASAP and tell the market this !
