@cyber if metro forecast £50m profit for this year, what do you have the sp at ?

Personally i'm keen to know the profits for the half, we will know soon. Metro is looking very good at the moment with high interest rates. Hopefully Dan will do a few more interviews.

Everyone agrees there will be a placing, however the sp is expected be long term holders to be the same as last dril. Mid 20s. So right now it doesn't matter. Also they own the drill... they can keep drilling and drilling until strike. If its like last time the sp went from 5p to 19p in a few weeks. People love this project because the asset is so big. I won't sell at 10p or 15p.

Kevin. they purchased the whole Rig. its not rented or leased for a few drills. They 100% own in.

They wont stop drilling until they find helium. no more rig problems.

Metro sp should be x6 profits forecast. If they forecast 50m profit x 6 is 300m market cap or £2 something. I popped into a brach spoke to manager and June was very busy. Metro have cleared all legacy issues. They have announced 2 quarterly profits and we are awaiting half year results in a few weeks. Metro now is making more money, bigger, higher rev,more assets, more branches than original listing at £20 a share. Also high interest rates is what drives increased profit. To get back to £20 sp I guess we need around £350m profit and higher forcasted growth. Can it be done. Of course.

The quarterly update is around 27th July. If they announce another 1/4 profit as most expect then the share price will continue upwards. Metro is looking really good now especially with high interest rates.

When metro start forecasting for £100m earnings then we can see £3.00 share price. As for now most anticipate 150p this year.

(This was in March before the the additional Rate hike)

Metro Bank said it plans to open 11 more branches, which it calls “stores”, by the end of 2025, adding to its existing network of 76 which are open seven days a week, 362 days a year.

Yes all rampers should be ignored i agree, but not an investor who can speculate on future profits based on analysts reports. Metro is turning a profit now and lets say they make £40m in 2024 then Metro "can" be valued at 4-10 x profit or 160p-400p . £40 million profit is nothing for Metro and people can speculate that a recovery is in order. so to tarnish every enthusiast investor who is using future forecasts as a "ramper" is wrong. For Metro to remain at this sp it will need to continue making a loss... but its making a profit now, the market is waiting for how much.

surely market cap will adjust to the forecasted sales which we are all waiting for. could be 10m- 20m market cap on forecasted production numbers.... but even 15m is a tiny company
