My fag packet calculation suggests about 40M shares traded this week and last represents about 8% of issued shares so liitle surprised that we've not had any II change holding RNSs recently.

https://www.itm-power.com/aim-rule-26 gives a list current holders, so am i right to assume that a lot of this 8% is amongst private investors? Seems a little surprising to me, tho i admit it's not a situation (ie big rise/big volume) that i have a lot of experince of or am i missing something..?

When a companies worth half £!B and not due to make a positive eps for three years, a retrace has gotta happen at some point....
On a different note, has anyone seen info on the lease for the new factory being signed yet cos i thought it was due to be done end of 2019?

The only thing i can think of about an offer of 100p is that it is appropriate compensation for the risk you are taking!

6 times average volume today would suggest to me II buying, a tip somewhere ,or possibly leakage from upcoming trading statement...There was one on 15th jan last year.

Yes Openspaces, I'm glad to see that 50/50 is your assesment of the risk of success here (very generous from you) but i find it hard to stomach your critisms of Peoples positivitivity when you do the same even more relentlessly on the downside, based mostly on poor historical performance.
In the same way as we are all familiar with the positives we are also aware of the risks and what the SP has done over the years ( as nicely summarised recently by Surprised)
Informing People that he/she might regret their comments in the future reflects poorly on your character IMHO, as does the fact that you only ever comment (negatively) on this one share. Your posts are a corosive element to the free exchange of ideas here and i can only assume that this is your sole intention. Your posts only ever seek to decrease optimism in the CPX and It follows therefore that the stressful time experinced by jalapeno is of no concern to you..?

...the other night that i logged on in the morning and CPX had spiked up and the quote was going up and up on every refresh, and your thinking what the feck is going on here? (you know how that goes sometimes)
I'm afraid the shock must have woken me up cos that's all i can remember. V strange cos i can't ever recall dreaming about a share before and prob should keep it to myself ...but it is christmas time and maybe it's the dream of christmas future!? We'll see eh...

No director buy RNS yet but 284M shares is a fair initial sum to cough up unless you're pretty confident in the future here...

I'm tempted to take e few up too. In a years time, if the court case is won and new production in full swing, the present market cap of £9m will be a distant memory. The generaly received wisdom of the stock market is that prices are forward looking and anyone who hangs on to shares with a poor historical performance and beleives the future is even worse is quite clearly a cr*p investor (at best) or mad (at worst) AIMHO

I think this has been under the radar for many investors and so hopefully this will pick up from here. Always looked great on paper (whether investor or a saver) but little interest for the share price. Expected EPS growth 9% this yr and 13% for end 2020. P/e below 10 and rising div, what's not to like...?

Yes noticed zat too and decided that with a big seller nearly out, a risky average down was in order. Thereforte nice to see another II RNS today up 2.2%. Not for the fainthearted this tho...

Neat bit of kit that but only prototype atm. Intresting to see if shorters Marshall Wace can keep a lid on this, they've gone from 0.7% to 1.05 % in last week. I'm out atm waiting to see who wins this skirmish...
