Good sleuthing guys. These modules are quite something.
The 165F, 48 V module can (in theory) supply a 53 Watt load for an hour, or a peak current of over 2000A and can do this repeatedly, with low losses and with negligible deterioration.
As stated, below, the possibilities are endless...
Yes most small cap tech growth stocks seem to have there resisdent doom mongers. Their negativity under all circumstances makes it look suspiciously contrived...
I have my own theories about such posters but, of course, no hard evidence.
Would like to think there's a (legitimate) reason for the rise but i've noticed an increase in the prevalence of (exuberant) momentum trading recently and that could be an explanation. This stock with it's beaten down SP, but with a large redeeming payoff (samsung) is a prime target for the rumour mill/momentum brigade. Hope something more substantial is afoot tho...
Yes after a good start, the day ended red yesterday so the market was not that overly impressed either. With no divisional breakdown its a bit difficult to assess but going back to the H1 announcement, it states that private jets business trading was extremely difficult, which was surprising given what this article suggests:-
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/jan/21/wealthy-uk-flyers-opt-for-private-jets-to-evade-covid-and-lockdowns
I would have thought AIR would be doing ok in this sector. They do state that pricate jet side is improving and so maybe it has picked up since H1 announcement.
Very creditable performance given the circumstances and much overlooked by the market who don't see the more profitable niche that AIR inhabits. Having said that, it should also benefit too from a return to more normal air travel in coming year. Thanks to the regulars on here for keeping our spirits up during these difficult times.
Personaly i'm selling down my holding a bit atm because it's looking a bit expensive now given the projected growth rate. Also because i like to crystalise profits on the way up so portfolio remains more balanced., It's a solid long term hold for me tho and it wouldn't be the first time i had mis-timed a sell!
Yes couldn't have put it better myself!
If i was a fan of conspiracy theories i might think that announcing to the world that the new variant was 'out of control' was just to cause a distracttion to the main event, scheduled on 1 jan ;) I feel sorry for everyone stuck down there but as pointed out, a gift for AIR shareholders i think.
Merry Cchristmas all.
Part of my strategy is to look for stocks that are apparently mis-priced. That could just as easily be overpriced as the more obvious opportunity of being underpriced. Then you have to ask why that is...
If a stock seems overpriced on traditional measures and it's not in a bubble (eg dotcom boom or similar) then you might just end up thinking that the price is high because that's what people will pay for it and accept that at face value. Often the lesson is that they will pay even more still...
Reults out 6 jan so will know more then.
Good summary YoYoMa imho. I don't normaly momentum trade but i did here...
Out now because i got too nervous about lack of trading over xmas with the annoucement of the new tiers and rules.
Still, it's holding up better than i thought in the low 60's. I'm definately keeping a close watch and looking to get back in, but like you say, waiting for results and prob not till next year...
