I imagine that the current 30% reduction is relevant averaged over the whole lifetime of the machine (25 yr is it). So it works out cheaper per KWh but the initial cost migfht be higher...which was the gist of my point about it being about economics. The comments about the warranty issue is intriuging since i believed the machines to be pretty reliable, although obv they don't have 25yrs worth of data yet.

I suspect the Li/vrfb question is down to economics, it usually is with the short sightedness that always seems to prevail. Little concern of Li fires, disposal problems shorter lifespan and the rest. Whilst that happens vrfb doesn't get the investment

I think the VRFB tech is largely been overlooked (untill recently) because for a long time it's been cheaper to burn hydrocarbons (emit C02) to generate power. It's cheap only if you don't consider the effects of C02. The acknowledgment of this flawed approach has finally driven investment in renewables and now energy storage leading to an econmical combined approach to power delivery.

i don't recall a takeover (that i had shares in) where the SP has been over the offer price so consistently since the bid first came in. So that would imply a high confidence in a better offer. Anyone got any ideas where that might come from?

Yes he's certainly been immensely supportive of MIRA over many years and it's hard to imagine that he doesn't want his $ back at some point. Whilst the market neglects the potential here i reckon you're right and another company will buy him out...
Be nice if the SP reflected that a bit more and that MIRA are slowly building a solid product with global media companies.

Large increase in volume in the last month or so and a big jump up today on just 5K volume. I'd buy more but got quite enough already!

They appear to have viable machine but the lack of action here suggests most people think the operational trials will be a failure. Interesting to see how this pans out....

Thanks for the courteous response. My point is that, difficult tho it is, I have to think this will rise else logicaly, i have to sell irrespective of the loss. I find adhering to that the most difficult thing with shares. Hope does replace rational thought (as coping mechanism possibly!) . People are postive here because they would sell otherwise (assuming they are long on CPX)

Was down at pre the recent '...exceptional order intake...' RNS in the last few days which seemed to good to be true, still a good buy at sub 10p tho imho....

Yes i'd have thought we'd have got an RNS too. Check out SDI group too for a punt in the same area, they make cameras in diagnostic machines...

Who else but a paid troll wud continue to be bearish on the day we get an '...exceed expectation...' RNS?

The vanadium storage tanks are just resevoirs and the ion exchange happens after pumping through an electrode assembly (i believe)

Yes, not been watching today but the 20 day volume average i use on the chart has gone up approx 10 fold since the start of aug into sept, dropped back a little now but def a lot more interest recently. Bodes well as you say...
