Given the acquisition only went through in July 2024 and they are just bringing on paying customers I’m not expecting the accounts to show any revenue, unrealistic to think they would.

I’ll tell you what’s meaningless and that’s SCGL. They are at least 6 months away from launching a product, let alone having a commercial one or heaven behold actual revenue.

In fact its shareholders don’t even know what % they own of the company it’s invested in as the directors have never disclosed! What a joke.

No one knows what % this company has in EVOO, the company has never said…..it could be 10%!

It doesn’t have a product to sell and will probably be 6-12 months before one is developed. It doesn’t have any customers. It will need to raise a lot more money.

I think clearly there is a lot more to come in the short term. Placing RNS “promising sales…” today’s RNS “ access to 219 million profiles” - you can’t get access to profiles unless you have an agreement with a company that hosts those profiles.

The only platform I know of (correct me if I’m wrong) with that many profiles is LinkedIn. A quick google search shows LinkedIn has about 240 million users in UK/ North America.

Looks like about 600,000 recruiters in Europe/North America. Cykel is a first mover so wouldn’t be unreasonable to be targeting a 5% market share. This would equate to 30,000 Lucy’s sold or about $18 million revenue per year. At a 25x revenue that’s a valuation of £ 360 million or 75 pence / share.

Enterprise software are almost always sold on a per seat basis. So if a HR company has 50 recruiters and all were equipped with Lucy that would be 50 x $1.63 = $81.50 per day.

What would be useful is the potential market size they are targeting in the US / UK

We also have to ask how does Lucy get access to “210 million profiles”, profiles not CVs or candidates. I think they have done a deal with someone like LinkedIn to be able to access profiles for recruiters.

10,000 is $6 million in annual revenue. Comparable companies are valued at 25x revenue so that’s $150 million valuation or £0.22 / share. This is just for Lucy’s first 10,000.

I think they have priced it to capture market share quickly, it’s a no brainer for a HR company.

Can anyone tell me what % interest SCGL has in the EVOO business. The company refers to “an interest” so I presume it’s less than 100%?
