I think we're all guilty of having a bit of the Dunning Kruger effect.

Anybody investing in shares must be guilty of a bit of this.

If you choose to run down a share people are invested in, then they take it as a personal attack, so hence the retribution.

The Valereum Plc board of directors includes:-

James Formolli (Executive Chairman), Gary Cottle (Group CEO), Grant Gischen (Non-Executive Director), Matthew Ripperger (Non-Executive Director), and Simon Brickles (Non-Executive Director).

This composition was established after changes in July 2025, which included the appointment of Gischen and Ripperger, and the departure of Karl Moss and Pete Sekhon from the board.

Based in New York, Ripperger has over 25 years’ experience in investment management and expansive healthcare expertise. He served as managing director at Harbert Stoneview, prior to which he co-headed healthcare investments at TimesSquare Capital and Glenview Capital Management, including serving on the board of Tenet Healthcare. He has also held roles at Smith Barney, UBS Warburg, J.P. Morgan and Citigroup.

Gischen is an experienced venture capital investor and strategic advisor with a global track record across deep tech and the energy transition. He is co-founder and partner at Energy Revolution Ventures (ERV), a UK-based VC firm investing in early-stage technologies in hydrogen and renewable fuels, carbon capture, energy storage and advanced materials. He began his career at Bain & Company, where he supported clients across private equity transactions, digital transformation, energy transition and infrastructure development.

Simon Brickles has officially joined as a Non-Executive Director to the company. Simon Brickles, the current group Chairman of the GSX Group, brings over 30 years’ experience in capital markets. He served as the former head of AIM/London Stock Exchange and other markets.

Thank you takecare. The DMC deal was a poor deal for Vaereum compared to this deal. The Chairman of Valereum said so himself and also said Valereum had negotiated badly with DMC so he was glad when DMC fell through.

No-one wants your investments to fail, so be fair in not wanting Valereum to fail.

A US listing costs up to about $400,000 plus annual fees.

I think I understand it. A new company is formed known as Valereum -QGP-SP which will hold $200m. Two Directors from Quorum Global Photonics will join the board of Valereum. The 5 directors on the board will decide together on what assets to buy, how to progress the US listing and what entities will receive tokenised funding.

Valereum will get $10.5m annual interest from hereon every year.

Valereum will receive a $10.5m interest payment every year.

No they haven't. The new company Valereum-QGP-SP has to have the funding of $200m in it. All of this will be covered in the negotiations. Plus the $10.5m is to be paid in perpetuity meaning forever.

If Valereum do well, and get a US listing, the 49.9% may be fair. I think it will be dependent on all this.

It looks like Valereum could go to 27p providing it stays above the 50 day moving average.

The last so called deal with DMC undervalued the company according to the Chairman plus he also said Valereum hadn't negotiated well at all in the DMC deal so he was more than pleased the DMC had fallen through.

The Chairman and CEO have both worked for large financial worldwide institutions in the past so I think they will be preety astute.

Further Pieter Scholtz founder of Quorum Global Photonics, I believe a South African, hopefully knows loads about mining.

It looks like Pieter Scholtz only founded QGP in July this year to do this deal with Valereum.
