I was wondering too, where that quote came from. I tried to find it in the article. One way I've discovered to find out where a quote or whatever originates is to copy and paste the quote into your search engine and try searching for it from there.

Herd mentality moved it to 18p whether that be on a rumour of a buy out at 20p or people following the herd as the share price rose. Herd mentality makes share prices go up and down on rumours and on share price rises and falls.

Yes, positive news moves a price up too. However, the herd mentality can make the share price go up even further on positive news and as the herd moves on to the next big thing the share price comes tumbling back to earth.

RBC have always had the lowest target price for Boohoo. Some say it's because they have shorts in it.

Look at all the other target prices, do loads of research, do your homework thoroughly and decide for yourself.

Personally, I'm holding. I bought boohoo at 27p in 2015. I've watched them go up to £2.70, down to £1.50, up to £3.30, down to £1.40 and up to £3.18 now. I've held through all these scenarios and will be holding for years to come.

If you need the money then sell. If you don't need the money then hold for years and years and you'll be much richer. The decision is yours.

It was at 18p because it gets picked up by traders when it's rising and people flock into it when a share price is rising.

As soon as CAP-XX looks like it's going to be profitable then it'll come under the radar of more brokers i.e. when the production lines are up and running.

More brokers means more investors get to know about CAP-XX, buy CAP-XX and then the share price will rise.

The reason the share price doesn't go up is because there is only one broker reporting on CAP-XX. With only one broker this share is not known by investors.

If you're expecting the CAP-XX share price to get to £1 then it'll take 10 years to reach £1. Be patient and you'll make a fortune by buying them at this price, tucking them away in your sipp, isa and your families' sipps and isas too.

Boohoo have no debt and have £240m in cash.

The fashion market in the UK is worth £71bn, Europe is £330bn and the US is £350bn.

In total this is £750bn and doesn't even take into account the rest of the world.

Let's just say the fashion market globally is worth £1,200bn.

Boohoo's revenue for end of year results 2019 was £1.2bn which is 0.1% if I've got my maths right. Please let me know if I haven't got the maths right.

There's a lot more market share out there for Boohoo i.e. 99.9%

Boohoo revenue for end of year results for 2014 was £110m and by end of year results for 2019 was £600m.

It took Boohoo five years to increase revenue from £110m to £600m

Boohoo could achieve this for Nasty Gal by end of year results for 2022, then for Miss Pap, Karen Millen and Coast by end of year results for 2023.

Boohoo could achieve this for Oasis and Warehouse by end of year results for 2024 if they bought them. This would mean at least an extra £3.6bn in revenue by end of year results for 2024.

Say revenue for boohoo doubles and Pretty Little Thing doubles by end of year results 2024 then that would mean near enough £6bn revenue for end of year results for 2024.

In 5 years time by end of year results 2024 revenue could be at least £6bn, 5 times more.

Boohoo bought Nasty Gal in 2017 and by 2019 had turned it into a £100m revenue. Two years to turn it into £100m revenue. Boohoo revenue is £600m. Pretty Little Girl is £520m.

If MissPap, Karen Millen and Coast make £100m revenue each by end of year results for 2021 that's an extra £300m.

Boohoo buys Oasis and Warehouse and makes £100m revenue each by end of year results for 2022 that's an extra £200m.

So by end of year results 2022 Boohoo could have at least an extra £500m revenue. That would make the Boohoo Group revenue £2bn and doesn't take into account further rises in revenue for Boohoo, Pretty Little Thing, Nasty Gal, Miss Pap, Karen Millen and Coast
