As far as I am aware Paul Scott didn't have short positions in Boohoo. He had short positions in USA shares which went wrong for him and he had to sell a number of his UK shares to pay back on his losses.

To be honest he would have been better off shorting Boohoo and didn't.

Yes Paul Scott did sell out many years back when he believed the Boohoo share price wouldn't go up any further, however he bought back in again.

Professional investors, broker analysts and institutional investors get things wrong too, just like the rest of us.

They have only got round to buying more Boohoo shares which increased their position to more than 3%.. Above 3% then a RNS must be put out.

Norges Bank allocate so much percentage of their sovereign wealth fund to every listed company. As the funds in the sovereign wealth fund increase, they buy more shares.

I hope that makes sense.

For me, the next update and guidance will be poor so I expect the Boohoo share price to go down further. I may be wrong. I have been wrong many times in the past.

There are different theories and practices about share price falls.

Some say if a share falls 20% then it will fall further.

Some sell when the share price falls 10%.

For me, Institutional Investors have lost trust in Boohoo. Will they ever return? Who knows?

Nobody knows when this Court settlement will be finally achieved. The longer it takes to finally settle, the more problematic it becomes.

For me, I only take analysts views into account from the profit warning trading update of 16 December 2021. Anything before this date doesn't count no matter what anyone says on here.

Still, you don't understand that UK institutional Investors don't trust Boohoo, hence why they're not buying Boohoo shares.

Yeah, it's all the shorters fault that the Boohoo share price has gone down, nothing to do with Boohoo itself. Or it's the pandemic's fault or the supply chains or whatever, that's only temporary.

Boohoo still has a load of work to do and it's going to be years before they fix it, that's if they can fix it.

I was one of the people taken in by this deal to buy 100% PLT at about £300m at the time. Many people weren't fooled by it, I was.

It had been agreed that 100% PLT would be sold for £5m to Boohoo. Shareholders knew about this. The price became closer to £300m with no shareholder approval whatsoever.

Well then you shoudl understand that the bonus payments awarded should have been put to a shareholder vote to prove good corporate governance.

Boohoo are not leading the sector on corporate governance.

There is a theory that when a company gives profit warnings and then broker analysts downgrade the company, that is the time to go short on the company.

They didn't sell due to being over the cap which is poor risk management so stop deluding people.

That's nonsense spread on here. That happened for May and June 2020 so for two months in 2020 Jupiter were over their cap. By July 2020 they were within their cap again.

That decision came after the Leicester scandal.
