No mention of Boohoo trading update for this coming week so hence why I think Boohoo will provide their trading update on Thursday 19 January 2023.

As far as I'm aware Boohoo would have had to let the stock market know it was releasing its trading update this coming week.

Maybe I'm wrong.

The Boohoo RNS regarding their Interim Results released on 28 September 2022, for the first six months of FY23, from 1 March 2022 to 31 August 2022, showed Boohoo had a net loss of £14.7m.

Boohoo could well have a net loss of nearly £30m for FY23 which runs from 1 March 2022 to 28 February 2023.

We may have a better idea when the Boohoo trading update in January is released. I think this will probably be Thursday 19 January 2023.

Asos are also due to release their trading update on Wednesday 11 January 2023, so it'll be well worth reading Asos' trading update before the Boohoo update is released.

trading4good - I think Buffett's point is all about being comfortable with the holding.

trading4good - Buffett says if you don't feel comfortable owning a stock for 10 years, you shouldn't own it for 10 minutes.

trading4good - Warren Buffett's rule number 1 is never lose money and rule number 2 is remember rule number one always.

southcoastbather - you need to look at the negatives as well as the positives. When the share was in the 400s I wasn't the only one to think that it was going to keep going up and up. It has gone from 400s to 36p and could go lower.

trading4good - looked it up for Warren Buffett and looks like he said

You’ve got to be prepared when you buy a stock having them down 50 per cent or more and be comfortable with it — as long as you’re comfortable with the holding.

trading4good - each to their own. Buffett has his points and so do others. Maybe we need to keep an open mind to all of them.

southcoastbather - Shein may well have been around and not seen as a threat by me and others. That's how much I believed in Boohoo at the time. Some call it falling in love with a share or getting too emotionally involved with a share.

That's why it's so important to look at both sides of a share - i.e. its good points and its bad points.

Greed can make you think that a share is only going to go up when it can go down and keep going down.

Don't make my mistakes and I'm still learning.

Protect your wealth is such an important lesson.

Some say sell if your investment goes down 10% from the price you bought it or from its highest price. Others say sell if it it goes down 20%.

Boohoo were doing very well then. I wasn't the only one who saw them as a 100 bagger. Many others did too.

It's so important to learn from your mistakes.

My understanding of forensic audits is that they are only carried out where fraud is suspected.

Boohoo share price forecast

The daily chart shows that the BOO stock price has been in a strong bearish trend in the past few months. In this decline, the stock has formed a bearish channel shown in green. Along the way, the stock moved below all moving averages.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has been in a downward trend and moved below the neutral point at 50. Therefore, the stock will likely drop to about 25p in 2022 and then have a rebound in 2023. If this happens, the next key resistance level to watch will be at 60p. A drop below the support at 25p will signal that bears have prevailed.
