7am and not 7pm.

I can see why the RNS came out at 4.57pm today. On here some people have been behaving like headless chickens since it came out at 4.57pm today.

You can imagine what would have happened if this RNS had been put out at 7pm this morning or 7pm on Monday morning.

The important thing is to give people plenty of time to process it and check their emotions, so they don't react on emotions only.

The FCA have a responsibility to shareholders and to businesses too. The FCA may only have informed REVB at 4.30pm today knowing the RNS couldn't go out during trading.

This FCA formal investigation was obvious it had to happen from the conclusion of the REVB investigation into what had gone on.

There was no way it wasn't going to happen because the FCA have to carry out a formal investigation before they can bring criminal charges against Minto, Allsworth, the CFO at the time and anyone else. All these people have left REVB now and it's an investigation into them and what they did.

I can't see the FCA fining Revolution Beauty itself because the people to blame for all this have now gone from REVB.

Lifesagame - I think the share sold by Bob Holt were all his free shares from the options awarded to him. So it's all gain for him. Boohoo are paying his tax bill for these free option shares and for Elizabeth Lake's options too. Bob Holt and Elizabeth Lake had to sell so many of their REVB option shares to Boohoo for Boohoo to pay the tax on their free option shares.

I think Bob Holt still has about 2.4m REVB shares. 1.5m bought recently by Bob Holt and nearly 900,000 from his free option shares.

Redhammy - I wish. I try to give both sides. If I see only downside, then I try to give the upside and vice versa. For me, it's about balance on a chatboard.

Investors react too much on their emotional minds when they need to be using their rational minds or even their wise minds. Wise mind is a mixture of emotional and rational.

The FCA will have been looking into all this since January 2023 in order to decide whether or not a formal investigation was needed.

This is how the FCA works. They have to investigate everything before declaring a formal investigation into a company. Otherwise they could be affecting an innocent company's business if they didn't do what was necessary before declaring a formal investigation.

Please remember the formal investigation by the FCA is into the period from July 2021 to September 2022 and not now and not the future.

Read this to remind you of the fraud carried out in the past. Not the present. Not the future.

It's nothing to do with share dealing. it's to do with what Minto, Allsworth and CFO did between July 2021 and September 2022.

They provided personal loans without letting the board know. They got people to buy REVB products just before the accounts were to be released to make the figures look good.

Spk999 - there's always a large gap with REVB shares for bid and ask at different times of the trading day.

Most of REVB's shares are held by Institutional Investors so there's only about maybe 12% in free float, so it can make it a bit illiquid. This can sometimes cause a large spread between bid and ask.

This is all about the past, July 2021 to September 2022, not the present and not the future.

There is no way REVB would have been allowed to resume trading if the FCA had any concerns about the present or the future.

I would think the FCA would want to fine those involved at the time, Minto, Allsworth and the CFO and rightly so. Also, for any criminal investigation which needs pursuing. As far as I can see, it was fraud against the shareholders. You can't let this go without punishment.

This is about the past and not the present, so you need to get it into perspective.

It was obvious the FCA would have to investigate. They can't let the likes of Minto, Allsworth and the CFO at that time get away with it. That would be completely wrong.

The abuses were carried out between July 2021 and September 2022. The FCA will know this from the investigation instigated by Revolution Beauty itself into what had gone on.

It is important fo everyone that the FCA investigate the abuses done by Minto, Allsworth and the CFO at the time because what they did was wrong.

I would imagine this will be in order to establish if the FCA need to bring criminal charges against these people.

You can't simply let them get away with what they did. They misled shareholders and knowingly misled shareholders.

FCA had already said they were looking into Revolution Beauty for the period July 2021 to August 2022. It was to be expected from what happened during that time.

None of the people at Revolution Beauty now were there during this period of time.

This will be down to Minto and Allsworth.
