T4g - you make me laugh. Amazingly, you never put statistics on here for Shein. Boohoo is certainly not thriving. Shein has taken loads of market share from Boohoo in the UK and US. Will Boohoo get it back? You don't know even that. Web traffic doesn't necessarily mean sales.

Mike Ashley isn't interested in mergers. He's interested in buying companies on the cheap.

T4g - you have to do the sales and make profit regardless of the highest margin. If you're having to reduce your prices because of competition from the likes of Shein then your margins are out the window.

I forgot you don't think Shein is a threat. There's your biggest problem. Too much faith in your own choice of shares.

If Mike Ashley could buy Boohoo in the cheap, he would. He's looking at making a bit of profit hopefully and maybe some deals on selling Fraser's stuff on Debenhama and vice versa.

Mike Ashley knows if he buys shares the price will go up for a bit at least. He doesn't know the bottom for the Boohoo share price. He's no different to any other investor trying to make a bit of money.

Trying to guess Frasers Group’s long term intentions is a full time game. It is well known for buying large chunks of shares and then dumping them quickly. The group recently sold half its shareholding in Next, after the shares rose by 15%, and now holds 500,000 shares.

I have to say from what I've read on Oilman Jim's blog, he would have gone into Pantheon Resources to make a quid or two from the rise.

Yes, Oilman Jim shorted Pantheon Resources on the way down. However, he would have been looking at buying in to make a quid or two on the way back up.

Rabito79 - from what I've read on Oilman Jim. He hasn't said that, he has said others have commented on social media about fraud. He's never mentioned cleaner for David Hobbs. These things happen with any company. They get good and bad press. You have to take things like this with a bit of a pinch of salt. If you have faith in your share, then it won't affect you.

People who hold shares want to read only positive comments which is understandable. No-one wants to admit they might be wrong.

No-one is an expert not even Mike Ashley nor Umar Kamani. They're trying to make money too.

Mike Ashley bought shares in Hugo Boss in 2020 and sold some of them in 2022. Mike Ashley has a marketplace with Frasers so he may want to do deals with putting his stuff on Debenhams and Boohoo's stuff on Frasers.

No-one knows, how well Naomi's Collection will do. No-one knows what will be in the next trading update, so it is all guesswork.

From what I can see, traders have been working Boohoo shares from 30p to 39p and back again. The rises haven't been sustainable. This time round may or may not be different.

For Boohoo to make a sustainable rise, then you need loads and loads of investors wanting to buy them. I can't see that because Boohoo seems to be out of fashion with investors.

25m Boohoo shares traded hands yesterday and it went up less than 3p. This means there are still loads of sellers out there.

The only thing that's helped the share price is Mike Ashley. That doesn't last forever.
