Don't remember it reaching 0.15 (presumably 'p') on 30 July - actually closed at a mid just about half that - 0.076p.'

That's the problem with predicting the SP, as the warnings point out the price can go down as well as up.

Not sure what the point of this post was but when did you buy in, or are you still 'just lurking' helping out with the ramping?

Gosh, no need to reveal what some of your previous identities were on this board - it's pretty obvious you haven't learnt that spouting complete BS from 'ramping 101' (an ellsvalexpert publication) making groundless accusations about other posters don't impress anybody much.

I think the 158 posts (probably more since I looked) mostly on 2 shares since reincarnation on 24 July says much more about your intentions to manipulate the SP than a few posts highlighting the behaviour of UKOG.

buddy.....174 posts in 3 weeks mostly on 2 P&D shares (PPP & UKOG plus that other favourite 88E + CPX) - one of which is suspended (last time on 1/8/23 PPP didn't come out of suspension until November - just a bit of history to not worry about) says trader not long term investor - seems you're extremely concerned about the short term.

The question now is what was your previous id on LSE though?

Government funding from the Gas Storage allocation round will be dependant on a contract being signed which is scheduled for Q4 2025 according to the 'Hydrogen Storage Business Model: market engagement on the first allocation round' document - seems maybe not many 'investors' have bothered to read what the government says - mind you apart from commentators (who seem equally unresearched) UKOG hasn't suggested there's any government funding in the near future

why would anyone 'invest' in a company that since (and including) the days of the Gatwick Gusher posted that almost every positive claim by UKOG was what would now be called 'fake news'.

Pleased to hear you've 'invested' for the long term, though looking at your posts you do appearr to be a trader, 'top slicing' and 'back in' suggesting less than a sticky holding. So it will be interesting to read your posting in a year's time, many lth spend their time extolling the virtues of averaging down having been mesmerised by the endless jam tomorrow claims by UKOG that fail to arrive.

Apparently you missed the last few years, or even months before the latest P&D when posters were constantly predicting that the projects were great and every rise was going to not only hold but carry on rising, possibly forever judging by the chartists fantasy scribing.

Instead each P&D was eventually followed by a new low as those spiked and unwilling to sell at a loss found out.

I guess claiming any poster who posts negatively, and thus accurately with the backdrop of UKOG's share chart, is a shorter might be a compliment to their astute posting, but sadly, like the plethora of traders, I prefer to wait for the ridiculous pumping on the shabby RNS and tweets generated by UKOG, often before the necessity of another raise - though it doesn't change what I post about the projects during the pumps, or dumps.

But remember Alan Green appears to kno nothing about UKOG if Jungmana's extracts are representative. To save you time here's jungmana's points from the linked podcast with some comments.

1. Turning point – just the latest, all previous ones turned back

2. Ridiculously low market cap and worth many multiples – Market cap ca twice UKOG's'oil & gas properties' tangible assets of less than £2mm

3. Near term significant upside - or downside if newsflow stops

4. Generating cash – only through raises / CLN, production, revenue massively less than outgoings

5. JV partners / government funding in first round - currently no partner probably because unlikely to be chosen by government in the first round, which won't be funding anyone until Q4 2025.

6. Assets solid and blue sky upside – no significant sssets, HH has declining, expensive production, 10% of Horndean is less than 20bopd. Blue Sky upside - we'll see, UKOG's history with their blue sky upside exploration projects didn't work out.

As for buys vs sells the recent regular occurance of late reported trades means that until all trades are reported the ratio of buys to sells is likely wrong when it's massively skewed - and that's without the unreliability of the reporting of buys and sells, which can be manipulated by a distorted spread to tell whatever story is needed to encoourage trades. Most of the time the ratio is kept close to 1 : 1 despite the reported buys vs sells vs unknowns - any major departure from that is likely to be due to a skewed spread or an unreported trade.

Is Alan Green TH2 or ocelot?

But has the market already 'reflected? dropping from 0.12 to less than half that:-

Not sure it matters but whenever there's a placing or CLN conversion there's large late reported trades that posters want to believe are buys when there's holders with a lot of shares they've bought at an advantageous price wanting to sell.

Those shares will have already been sold, maybe with a small margin but a single large trade of an agreed number of shares at a price guaranteed to make a profit is easy business.

Last trade before 3pm on the 8th had a spread of 0.062p to 0.063p which makes a trade at a price of 0.0622p at 15:00:07 a sell based on the spread, let alone that there's an awful lot of shares that are likely to be sold rather than bought.

But of course it's a buy, like every large sell over the years when there's shares needing to be got rid of.

But theoretically those 2 billion shares haven't even been authorised for allocation and assuming the resolution is passed at the GM won't be issued until on or around 27 August.

You do realise the company sold shares at nominal value to the EBT, not purchase in the market.

The number of zeros is hard to keep up with but the nearly half a billion shares cost under £500.

These shares will no doubt be voted but 10% of the shares in the company can be handed out to employees - and when they have issued another 4 billion ( frrom the placing and retail offer they can add nearly 450,000,000 shares to the stash - as that would make it 10% of the enlarged share total with the EBT shares see how it works. About 1.4 billion shares in the EBT - they might even top up the number of shares they have authority to issue because by the GM the recent top up to the EBT will have been added to the current total.

really? maybe take a look at yourself - looking at your past posts you quite often pop up to have a pop at my posts, often just after a UKOG fail, to imply I've just turned up at the funeral to mock when I've been diagnosing the problem and predicting failure - so this isn't just a one off. Seems I'm more your specialist subject than UKOG.

If you haven't realised by now that UKOG over state the importance and/or likely success of their projects and will take advantage of a P&D you haven't been paying attention. Trying to imply the company's failures are due to pi shorting is BS, but as I posted quite possible from institutions sold billions of cheap shares by UKOG - they don't hang about selling shares nor hang around for the price to drop - and thus the deceptions of late reported share sales.

well a shorter eh - explain how - apart from like every trader selling on a spike and waiting for the SP to drop - at least I'm honest that I expect it to rise, and then fall.......what's your opinion of the disappeared who kept insisting the SP would rise late last week or early this week to 0.12p, 0.15p or even 0.2p.

To get back to UKOG the only shorting going on appears to be by UKOG's institutional buyers - maybe your ire should be directed at the company continually giving out shares to 'unscrupulous' participants in placings. How dispicable.

Have a look at the SP - predicting that the projects will fail, and why seems to have been right, and those continually claiming success was assured wrong, and often dishonest as UKOG was always careful to caveat their claims.

Excellent use of pictures though, keep it up I might even give a damn one day, though from £ party BDI through a variety of long past critics, and of course the Fool on the Hill in numerous guises,none have managed to rile me - which seems to rile some even more.

But to get back to discussing UKOG, the purpose of this board .

As I have posted previously government cash isn't arriving in UKOG's bank account any time soon. The recent raises looking like they weren't all spent as intended - just allowed them to limp on until they could pump some letters they've requested to get away another raise and ask for another 8.6 billion shares to hand out - and now admitting they haven't even an option on a site in Yorkshire yet:- 'and conclude a land option agreement for a further hydrogen storage site'

But this was interesting in the post about RWE and gas storage:-

Just an opinion but UKOG's Yorkshire project, which is in the earliest stages as they are still negotiating the site, looks like a realisation that salt caverns there are in proximity to industrial customers (and planned transport infrastructure), unlike Portland Port so are more likely to succeed.

Jaffy - BTW the only post I've reported was the childish one with b*m in the title, the one calling me a b*st*rd was deleted before I could (and weren't those your bff anyway). But tormenting - oh how woke! This is a discussion board for discussion about UKOG - you're choosing to not to and get the consequences, perhaps it's the pair of you should 'grow up'.

Whilst shorting UKOG using borrowed shares is not available to pi, and shorting through CFD is also rarely available the majority of real world UKOG shorting is done by the small percentage of posters and tweeters that encourage buying because UKOG is such a long term dead cert they sell on the spikes and buy back when the dump is finished - and boast about it - some all too soon as UKOG does a SS special of a placing and request to authorise the doubling of the shares in issue - and recently UKOG has been efficient in utilising these authorities both in time and in extent, rapidly maxing out the confetti machine (next LOS from a wedding magazine?). Pity they weren't as diligent in spending the cash in the first place - though maybe paying their salaries is their priority, not looking after the SP.

Of course realists do it as well but don't take part i n the shameful promotion, well aware of the inevitability of the drop after the rise.

Nothing like trapping hopeless hopeful traders to keep the SP from dropping too far when they refuse to sell at a loss - all upset when they twig that the herd has moved on to the next P&D - spouting amateurish ramps and bile towards other posters who could say 'I told you so' ........but don't.

Looking at the 'brief' for GB Energy they:-

1 will take a stake in any project they invest in

2 Won't operate

3 won't be the only provider of capital to advance a project - though pre presumably could provisionally commit (which isn't committing) funding if others were prepared to commit - which might ease bottlenecks with funding.

Therefore to receive funds UKOG/UKEn would need significant funding in the pipeline (no pun intended) to proceed before GBEn would take a stake. Presumably this ensures that there are others who will evaluate a project and put their money where it might hurt rather than a politician / bureaucrat deciding on some mad cap project with political objectives.

So whilst GBEn won't operate surely they wouldn't support UKOG operating through UKEn and expect a major player (not just any 'big hitter') in H2 or gas storage.

How this will play out over the next few years with regard to UKOG will be interesting - but UKOG need more than a few LOS and the odd million quid that just keeps the company limping along to get to the table.

Whilst the allocation round was started by the previous administration it appears UKOG are working within that framework, and GBEn appears to fit well with the funding principles.

Looks like holding your breath for 26/27 will be interesting.

If final project committment, presumably only if they find someone to partner them, is that far away SGN aren't going to be spending much 'dead' money until then, and a transport element is a requirement according the the government paper - and logically. Surely if the project isn't that far advanced - seems the latest raise is to do a lot of the work required that supposedly previous raises were for - UKOG are in reality looking to the next round for a supportable application. whenever that may be. The RWE LOS confirms that the design stage isn't that far advanced if they're agreeing to peruse the plans in the future to make sure the facility works for industry - "In support of this proposal, we have committed to working with UKEn to ensure that the design and delivery of the storage facility meets the needs of RWE and other potential industry users."

Let's see who this 'big hitter' is and what their role is - is it a partner or an effective takeover seeing a (large/ massive?) dilution in UKOG's share of UKEn and thus control. Maybe when this big hitter is announced it will be a perfect excuse to announce a delay to the application.
