RE: Significant Shareholders?7 Jan 2021 22:28
Shouldhavedone,
Barclays seem to just collate TR1 - and if there isn't a 'sale' TR1 they assume the holding is still there.
I really can't see Cannacord still holding shares that had an original value of just over £919,000 (now £719,000) when there have been opportunities for them to double their money.
Pretty sure the SCDM shares were sold - and they missed the last TR1 on 20/10/17 - when SCDM had 90,204,179 shares left and went below 3%. There was a sale on 30 Oct of 12,954,179 - maybe a coincidence.
Same goes for the Standard Life shares.
and Solo oil has sold all the shares listed in the 08/10/18 TR1 (221,342,221) even though no TR1 showing further disposals, from Page 65 Scirocco (Solo) annual report:- 'At the end of 2018, 106,842,221 shares were held as a Level 1 quoted investment. Subsequently, the company received 17,989,326 shares on disposal of the UKOG PEDL 331 interest. All of these were sold during 2019 for a loss of £236k as seen in Note 10.'
Tellurian have form on not notifying their holding - have a look at the additonal information at the bottom of the 07/01/20 TR1 - exactly a year ago - and the 08/04/20 TR1.
So I wouldn't have any reliance on that list as to current major shareholdings in UKOG - it's pretty clear once a holding goes below 3% then Barclays don't know they've been sold. .
