Barclays said it was held up with some issue with them and the registrar, but it got loaded last night and I have done likewise.

Just logged in to Barclays to do mine and it's not there yet. Unusual for them to be behind the curve ;-) I'll badger them tomorrow if it's not there.

Fractional payment has appeared this week as well. So I think, finally, all done...

Yes, spotted on mine this morning while doing something else. Why they couldn't say anything on Friday I do not know. Doubtless now I can sell some I won't actually be able to decide what to do ;-)

Just been on the Barclays chat. Apparently international movements can be quite complex, hence the delay in completing this. I assume this means takeovers and not bowels.

I asked if there was more info regarding the Equiniti/HSBC situation, but they only said they are reviewing this one daily as there a number of holders on the platform waiting on it (as we know). I am considering extending my complaint I'll have a rummage through the previous communications from them.

On one hand I only have a small investment and it's been long enough to be nearly covered by dividends, on the other up at $24 even a small investment has done quite well, I suspect most holders would consider taking some profits here but are unable to.

I tried to ask Equiniti about this in January but they wanted a shareholder reference, which of course I don't have as a nominee shareholder. What process did you use to complain? Perhaps if we all do it?

Update from Barclays - no update really, they are still working behind the scenes on this, and the breakdown matched the post from Monddex; I did point out that there should be some regulatory issues with a registrar making mistakes like that, and that I would expect Barclays to be representing all of its customers (as they are the shareholder-in-effect) in applying some pressure.

The only thing they did accept is that they haven't done a good enough job in communicating the status of this corporate action, and on that basis it's worth calling them and raising a complaint.

Thanks for this. I contacted Equiniti right at the start of this, and they wouldn't talk to me without a shareholder reference, even though I explained it was a nominee holding and I was after general information about what was going on. I guess if it's your fault you might reluctant to say that......

I have raised a complaint this afternoon. There are 40 customers affected, I suggest everyone else does the same.

Apparently the takeover presents "significant operational challenges" and I look forward to learning what those actually are.

The last discussion within Barclays was on Wednesday, so they are aware and are looking at it.

Apparently "they are still working on it". They have noted my displeasure at the time it is taking (again).

Thanks for this, I've been on to Barclays today and they were unable (or unwilling, though I fail to see why that would be) to offer a similar level of detail.

During my conversation with Barclays regarding my complaint, they did mention that there might be a delay of a few days in the dividend arriving.

You are quite right that this has worked out in our favour, but (as Barclays did state to me on the phone today) that's not the point - Barclays did not do things that they had identified needed to be done (what would have happened if they had acted in a timely manner is tricky to tell because of the nature of the scheme)
