Duke Royalty recurring cash revenue up 17% in first quarter

Duke Royalty Ltd - Guernsey-based provider of royalty finance to companies in UK and Europe - Recurring cash revenue is GBP6.0 million in the three months to June 30, Duke's financial first quarter, up 17% from GBP5.1 million a year before. Expects recurring cash revenue in the second quarter of financial 2024 of GBP6.2 million. Looking ahead, Duke says it remains confident that the consistent quarterly growth in recurring revenue will continue.

Chief Executive Officer Neil Johnson says: "We are pleased to report another quarter marked by record-breaking cash performance, underpinned by solid growth. This underscores the resilience of Duke's business model, especially in the face of ongoing economic challenges."

Current stock price: 33.20 pence, up 3.8%

0.45 to buy and 0.425 to sell

At 145p this is now back to 2019 levels and yielding 4.3%

(Sharecast News) - Cybersecurity specialist Darktrace hit its guidance for full-year revenues and client additions.

Over the 12 months ending on 30 June, Darktrace reported a 31% jump in revenues to reach $545.4m, for a nearly 40-fold jump in net profits to $58.96m.

All geographies and customer sizes were said to have registered "strong" year-on-year growth.

The number of customers as at 30 June was up by 18.3% to reach 8,799.

Adjusted operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation meanwhile rose 52% to $139.2m.

Free cash flow on the other hand dipped 5.8% to $93.75m. Dragging on the latter was the net settlement of vesting equity grants in the period for executive directors.

Guidance for full-year 2024 adjusted EBITDA margins was lowered to 17-19.0%, but that for revenues was confirmed.

Dragging on its margin guidance, which in July had been pegged at 22%, Darktrace said that it changed its definition of adjusted operating profits and would now treat all commissions as cash costs.

But if not for that change and modifications to the timing of its commission payouts, then its margins would still have risen by 11.2 percentage points between FY 2021 and FY 2024.

Have we already got deals with miners to test on their miners, nobody can be 100% because we haven’t been told, we have been told the next step was to test in-house it with miners with readily available miners, no update to say we have bought miners which we should have had and been told of imho, NDA’s protecting miners from discussing business so no update on wether we are testing with them. FG also said we were planing to test on the miners of miners and a few weeks later we are testing on new miners, read that how you want - its a scam

We have a product as it’s obviously being tested, we don’t have final results for it though FG was confident it would be the same as 2.6 x faster, software set up etc must be the same to make that claim you would have thought. - you wont hear anything until FG needs his next dilution pay check

If we had final results or deal announced we wouldn’t be at this low SP so some posts seem a little odd to me, we should be higher for where the company is. - Final results for 2023 will be posted June 24
