Only item missing was: The Company has received a number of unsolicited offers of interest in its Little Deer and Whalesback Mines and is actively seeking arrangements that can advance these projects while retaining significant interest. I thought this was a big development and not getting the focus today it should have gotten.

I think many are waiting for the quarterly 1Q21 production update, which I think is needed for the next push higher. I hope we get this update soon as I think the earlier this comes out the better.

What are your views when the quarterly update for 1Q21 will be released. The last five 1Q21 updates were 1 May 2020, 9 May 2019, 30 May 2018, 9 May 2017 and 25 May 2016. This was Friday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My view is we will get something next week (could be any day as in the past no certain day was preferred). I am hoping for a very comprehensive update as I think the progress needs to be spelt out very clearly (many people do not bother reading between the lines of annual report) and an update of website and presentation. My personal view is that RMM could do more on promotion (some of recent RNS I would have released after quarterly update or very good news). It does not need to be over-the-top like some peers, but the last big progress update really was mid-Feb, which was almost three months ago. A lot has happened since that we need updating on.

The share consolidation is a very positive development and essentially shows management proactively helping to allow big institutional investors to invest in RMM, which would have not been possible for a “penny” stock. The RNS also exhibits confidence giving positive reasons why this step is being pursued.

The main value driver of RMM is the copper price. Copper prices are up (again) today by around 1% and we are very close to breaking the all-time high from 2011. Surpassing this level is only a matter of time. Some people on this board were sceptical of my 10p valuation reached in the next 2-3 years, but this company is very geared to copper and has several projects it can develop at a copper price that is 50% above the $3 per pound used in the presentation. This has to be the best resource play on AIM.

Gearing into copper prices

I was referring to 10p in 2023 and around 5p in 2022. This obviously needs development of some of the other copper assets Rambler owns and a higher copper price. I would not say that such a valuation is that unrealistic the hearing that Rambler has into copper prices is significant. When looking at presentation and when using lower WACCs (Canada has very low risk free rates) you can get to such a valuation. Not too long ago a good poster showed at copper prices last week how you would get to 6.4p valuation.

The STOXX Europe 600 Basic Resources Sector is on a current year PE of 8.5x and 1-year forward on 11x. I think Rambler will bring more of its properties into production allowing for value creating reinvestment, copper prices are likely to go up and I see dividend payments. Rambler is in a superior jurisdiction with exposure to an asset that everybody wants. The 10p is not as unrealistic as some might assume.

The market is much more forward looking than people think. I see around 2p into end of 2021, 5p in mid-to-late 2022 and around 10p in 2023. This is a retirement trade stock, very easy to model and expanded to a commodity that the market is very excited about. I am amazed about people getting excited about small daily moves and not taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture.

I do not write often on this message board (even less in recent time with all the over-the-top posts of some), but have added today. More important for me is that it is interesting that we got the FY20 results before the 1Q21 update (this was different last year). This implies to me to get the past and any negative news out of the way before coming out with more favourable updates. The reality is that the main value driver of the shares is the price of copper, which has been very strong again of late. I am hoping for an update soon (most likely this Tuesday after Bank Holiday) that will provide a good and solid update as we have not heard that much since mid-Feb. More importantly I would like an updated presentation, updated website and a step-up of RNS reporting on any small improvement or delivery on plans. For me as well what is interesting is the increased reference of Little Deer as there are other copper properties here that could be developed and brought into production. This is one of the best copper plays out there right now. Sitting tight and strong forget a rise to 1p I am holding for 10p, which we will get to particularly as copper prices have broken out and should take out all-time highs soon.

I also think that update will be oriented to when it happened last year, which was early May. This would allow some extra time with bank holiday so earliest I think news would hit is 4 May.

The next weeks will be exciting. It is apparent from the volumes today and all of this month that there are some serious investors buying into the merit of RMM. I am one of them having gladly taken shares of Lombard. Even in a conservative scenario this has major upside and I am increasingly of the view that Little Deer will be developed sooner than people think making this a two mine play. There is also a big upside from further exploration with seriously good grades having been found in the past. As the market is forward looking I would not be surprised if the recent rise continues unabated, particularly if the next quarterly update is played right by the company as by that point it will have been almost three months since the mid-Feb update. I am holding this for a multi-year investment opportunity and believe it is likely to be a retirement trade. Many people seriously underestimating how highly existing copper miners trade at.

Based on the big rise in recent days there seem to be many new investors in RMM. I therefore wanted to flag an excellent investor education video that will answer all the questions you might have on the investment case. You will find it posted by Portfolio Matters looking for Rambler Metals and Mining on YouTube. This should be required watching for all new investors. It shows the huge upside opportunity and timeline how to get there.

Both RNS were very positive, but I view the second one as the even better one highlighting earlier than expected increased focus on Little Deere, which underlines confidence of management and that turnaround of Ming might be ahead or at least in-line with schedule. This is still a very undervalued share with an overhang that is now gone.

I thought today's RNS was much better than expected. This all relates to the subtle addition of Little Dear in the release. From the RNS: "Rambler's focus remains the turnaround of the Ming Mine operations as a platform for expansion and the future growth of its highly prospective mineral properties including Little Deer deposit in the Baie Verte region of Newfoundland". This is new text and for the first time Rambler is making a bigger deal of Little Dear. The valuation uplift of Little Dear, which could be financed via operating cash flow would increase Rambler's value even more. In addition, it conveys positivity around the turnaround progress as Rambler would not start mentioning Little Dear if Ming turnaround was not going according or maybe even ahead of plan. Looking very good here and I think we will now see steadily more updates coming from the company.

I think from trading pattern towards the end of the week the big overhang has been cleared and this should continue its ascent into May news flow. This is one of the best resource names in the market and one can easily justify a much higher share price. Market will start to discount game changing 2022 as this is less than one year away. This is my largest position.

I thought this was a great week with the overhang finally cleared. I think the big news will come in early May (quarterly update), which is only three weeks away. Excitement will build and this would need to go up so much more than the 15% rise this week. Still very much off the radar. What will be key is for management to come out with a proper positive Big Bang update as a lot is likely to have happened sincerely mid Feb when we got last update. This is one of the best commodity exposed names there is out there. A producer valued below explorer level...

I agree that more RNS would be good and pressure will (gently) grow to be coming out with an update as there is a lot the company could talk about. Also I believe the presentation, which soon will be 6 months old needs to be updated. Anything that helps build excitement and clears the Lombard overhang will be very helpful indeed.

I have started gently building a position here as this is one of the best commodity price plays out there. It is however very apparent that Lombard is relentlessly selling every single day. This overhang needs to clear and there is some gentle pressure (which will be building) on management to start with updates where we are with the mine to help clear this overhang. This also includes an update of the big presentation from autumn, which now looks dated. Simply sticking to 3-monthly updates in my view a mistake. The upside though is very easy to build a big position here buying off Lombard, which looking at volumes is exactly what is happening.

Does anybody have a strong view when the Lombard related selling might be over? It is apparent that share price is being held back by the big institutional selling. RMM looking very interesting, but selling pressure has been intense in recent weeks. When do people see big newsflow here and what would it be as this might flush out the selling pressure?
