Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Calm - given your holding, if you continue to hold strongly over the coming months you may well be on the cusp of a life changing holding (assuming your not already a multi millionaire!) You mentioned the potential for an aquisition and that I think is often lost in the current noise - and I also think this could be the wild card that really could make things very interesting for the potential SP - The Board have dropped a number of hints over recent RNSs and looking at the makeup of the board and their contacts I think this is likely - and im also convinced it will be an advanced stage project that has a clear path to production - it wont be exploration like.
Sure to be some wild swings over teh coming weeks - Personally im just happy to sit back and keep my tightly held shares (ive held here for over 10 years) off the market over teh course of the next 6 months at least.... fingers crossed the Board, after many false starts, absolutely smash this out the park with 3/4 RNSs over the next couple of months.... - Good luck All
possible - not probable.....
living the dream Brent!
In all seriousness tho we could be on the cusp of a very signifcant re-rate - I do wont what the size of the free float really is - it cant be very big - only 200M shares in issuance with Juno holding circa 25M and im sure a number of other holders in the "Millionaire club" - particularly if LIM secures financing institutions will absolutely be all over this.... - so alot of room to move up if positive news....
Great to see the board nice and active with a range of comments. - My reading of the last RNS implies that both PEAs will be due before end of year - the Parys PEA was originally end of November however the followup RNS implied this had been pushed out a bit - no big deal, in fact im quite happy as it may give me a change to add some more....
This share really does have the potential now to push on to multiples of where we are now over the course of the next 12 months. - Couple of hints now have been given around aquisitions\reverse take over type deals - that also could be a game changer....
Keen to get a more specific update on Graingberg....
Indeed - can see this falling back much now - key is clearing the resistance zone of 2.0-2.2 - if the SP can do this then you'll see this move to 3-4p pretty quickly - I would expect the move to start from mid-November as people begin to take positions for the end of year RNSs - GLA
Are there any views as to the realistic freefloat here? - Juno have 58M shares, im sure there are a number of other holders that have 1M+ - so in reality probably 100M share really available? - thats not alot really if strong positive news hits...
Just under 6M shares calm - quite the holding - there is potential here for sure - I have just under 1 mill and depending on price nearer end of November I’ll consider making it a round number - still appears to be an overhang to clear short term - but good news could see this rise significantly -
It feels like theres a definite overhang to clear at the moment (warrants?) with a determine seller(s) - somewhat surprising as you would think you'd be as well to hang on till end of Nov at least so benefit from what is largely expected to be a positive PEA for Parrys.... - Clearing 2.1 \ 2.2 is first hurdle i think...
Correct - re the Company Structure, this is standard practice and I wouldnt read too much into it, regulation, tax purposes and liabilitites are the most common reasons. Its not been done specifically because he wants to sell the asset. He may well sell, but I would expect we are a good bit away from that at the moment... If he can get funding on reasonable terms why wouldnt he go it alone - would be far more value adding to shareholders in the long term....
Have to say I agree with IceBank on this one - ive been in SRES for a long time - even back when we were looking for diamonds in the Karelin crater! - Get the frustration however when there is material news then PC will let us know - hes not going to forget! - Us LTH have waited a long time for value to be realised - we're getting there but there is still alot to do.... given we've waited this long im happy to wait a bit longer. Like ICE says the lack of news creates a buying opportuniy - something im hoping to take advantage off in the coming weeks as I absolutely believe this will come good - were on the right track people, keep the faith!
I should add that whilst PC might not be Elon Musk in terms of generating a buzz he does know his stuff and looking at our advisers and contacts that he has brought on board there clearly will have been progress behind the scenes regarding offtakes\fundings\finance options etc....
Totally agree Rodster...... all the foundational pieces are now in place - this will come good - us long term holders who have been here for years should have no problem waiting another 3-6 months for the detailed planning and hopefully LT contracts to be signed - these things absolutely take time. PC will update when hes got something material to say... we're almost there...
Seen more activity in the local morgue.... - Looks like the BoD cant even get the annual report out "well before the end of August" as per their note on website. - obviously this means they will be putting the finishing touches to a transformative RNS ;)
On a more serious note, for me this share absolutely is a punt and to that end my investment could come to nothing and Im comfortable with that - however even highly speculative investments and companies generally try to demonstrate a level of progress to keep LTHs engaged - I dont think ive quite seen such a lack of progress\opportunity from other miners well...ever! - and all the while base metal prices continue to be at attractive levels, so they dont even have that excuse anymore... - oh well, let the bordem continue...
Quite ridiculous that this is the state of affairs - and I’m also amazed that the majority shareholder seems happy to go along with the current rate of progress (zero) - I await the blockerbuster annual report with anticipation
