The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
Jungmana, AP has said lots of things in the past but the follow through has been, err - patchy
You mentioned blueberry gold - well, after raising cash from a placing to conduct drilling, this is from an RNS in Jan 19, and theres been very little since.------
“I am highly encouraged by this next set of assay results from Blueberry which highlight the positive progress being made towards defining our target maiden resource estimate by end July 2019. The results demonstrate the continued high-grade nature and potential scale of this significant mineralised system and we are focussed on unlocking its full potential through the application of an Exploitation Licence in the coming months.
“We remain on track to crystallise the value of this asset for shareholders through the IPO of EMA, with this scheduled in 2019.
So I'm not saying Blueberry or the diamonds wont happen, but he has a track record when it comes to fulfilment

Judge-mental - as VAST have been in a negotiated process for a while, we don't know what, if anything they have had to compromise on. I think they may have to give up something(??) to actually get it to court after all these years - Zimb hasnt changed that much
And two more things - it was good that he said on the pod, that the money raised wasn't going to pay the deferred salaries (it was an obvious concern) - however, maybe Sandy could help re his other business interest) if he deferred his salary for so long, hes got £85k to buy shares? If he's been sitting on a cash pile for a while, he could have extended some bridging loans to VAST re cash flow hiccups due to missed shipments and thus reduced dilution
Steward, after so many years, the diamond news is undoubtedly welcome, especially in terms of timing, re the debt cliff in May - the more considered approximations of value mean they should pretty much cover all the debt - personally, I think actually getting the money back to VAST Plc isn't going to be straightforward, but it should be able to be used as collateral in the shorter term.
I've long advocated the need for a lot more drilling at BP, but wasn't aware of the license conditions make it a necessity - though as usual, we haven't been told anything about the drilling that was meant to take place last year Q2/Q3 - maybe it has been done and that's why they've been able to start bring the copper concentrate grade closer to the needed level (25%-28%) - imo, they should release a mining plan presentation, covering drilling, grade, revenue etc, to show what they are trying to achieve. Its so long since any 'investors' have had anything meaningful to look at re BP. - would think Q2, BP may break even - Q3 maybe VAST at topco level
TJK may surprise, but as normal, investors are given minimal information, allowing the sentiment manipulators plenty of room to speculate
Sadly, historically, AP's podcasts are always more hot air than reality - like an estate agent really - as he knows, he cant be held to anything not RNS'd - if the company is in a better position, put it in black and white
Does that answer some of your Q?
IQ15.7 "BP- is probably profitable now-awaiting news"
AP did a podcast yesterday, which mentioned when he hoped BP might break even (always optimistic)
He didn't say it is profitable now - are you suggesting you know more than him?
InvestingGenius (cough), your post at 8.00
'Yep i've been here sin the sub 0.2p days when the board was full of posters saying it was a strong sell and was going to 0.1p'
You already rewriting history?
You were saying strong buy at 0.4 - 0.45, then said the same thing at 0.2. Now the news has worked out for you, hopefully you averaged down enough at 0.2 to make some money.
Btw, just before you try and sl@g me off - check my posting history, cos I havent made any 0.1 price predictions or said strong sell
Did you and techguru participate in the placing thus time round?
Muck 'I wonder if part of the placing proceeds will be used to pay Director deferred salaries…'
I wondered that too - they did say on 31st Oct placing that they had near term liabilities of £933.000 (and didn't state that the money raised then would be used to settle those)
Well the placing isnt a surprise and at least it's a decent chunk (they had agreed to pay 2nd 500k to Mercuria (1st last May)) so it was needed
I had asked for directors buys in the market last week to show confidence in the diamond news - well at least AP has contributed in the placing (why not other directors?)
You could almost wonder whether some of the rampers were here to help get the placing away?
gemstar, you think, yet others only abuse
Yes, if those warrants have been exercised (why wouldn't you) then that cash could prove invaluable
It would also possibly explain the size of some of the trades, which were being questioned by many
But sadly some dont think past their keyboard....
