If relatives of those that have passed are successfully able to take legal action against care homes, then in my opinion the same legal remedy would be available everywhere, in public environments, etc...

the only, and it just seems so b. obvious to all of us who have read around the subject by virtue of this stock, is to maintain testing not just once to a person but whilst the threat remains, people need to be tested every single day.

Thats a point.... the gov just not strong enough on lockdown measures... we just didnt learn anything from the french or the italians... johnson and co just thought maybe the virus will bypass us, or herd immunity will naturally arise....

Once shops open about the best thing they can do is paint a white cross on their door. Inadequate safety puts customers and staff at risk, the store would be liable probably, failure in its duty of care id expect.

Id still say we do not know enough about this virus, how it was made, why it was made...we only know what it does... we need the other two answers to defeat it.

Until then, its just about test, isolate, wait.

Lockdown for another month until the gov get a grip. Going back next week, shopping etc .... laughable, no store has the ability to effectively control virus, given most of them have air con running all the time that will just spread covid ..most shops lights are so hot the staff complain....and if you turn the lights off its a shoplifters delight!

Its a no win situation, until the uk test system is properly established and managed..
