i lost track/gave up must have been 2018 or 2017 when they did the 400 to 1 consilidation. it smashed me completely and i just never bothered posting again, plus all the crap between some posters here made it a mare to follow.

i guess thats it for my investment then.. but what happened to the mexico plant, the shoats creek drill and all the kit.. is it all still there... can i have one of the co baseball caps as a reminder....

With sufficient funding, it can bring to market 2–3 high-quality rapid tests, train 10,000 healthcare professionals across 50 countries, and establish testing for 500 million people in low- and middle-income countries. Its success will be determined by how quickly test, trace and isolate strategies can be put in place, to minimize disruption of health services and prepare countries for the effective roll-out of therapeutics and vaccines once available. @st...i bet a few of the crowd funding, peer2peer platforms were imagining an exit via a listing..... no chance now.

I was once told they are last resorts for many start ups, one guy whose product i looked at raised five dollars in thirty days, his target was ten grand!

I guess he can say he did raise money!, but his invention and pitch was dreadful.

As for the HK passport situ, yes we have an absolute duty to stand by those with uk nationality, my thoughts were though it was circa 300k, but maybe the prc would just take those rights away, and given the flight situation could they even get out of HK if they wanted too.

Its going to be one hell of year, lets face it...anything could happen.

Cash is king, although i like the idea of shorting your own property....but dont they call that Equity Release....you only win is if you die on the day you spent the last penny and your house is worth 50% less than it was valued when you got the equity release....

Ditto both... good points technick.... who knows over zealous parents keen to roll up outside school dropping the kids off in an x5... etc... i heard one parent saying to another how they will be mortgage free in twenty years.... gasps of excitement all round... and high fives everywhere... mortgage free alright, their house will be repossessed and they will be renting!

Agree the majors are fine, and the gov will lean on them to bail or help each other out...challenger banks though...F. that..... way too risky on low capitalisations.... i could see all their carry debts being rolled into toxic assets and bundled up into special situation funds....

Too many of these pay day loan cos, interest rates of a million percent... the banks may have become responsible lenders, if your middle class that is, but the rougher end of the street had to go to the sharks for money....

One big f.disaster waiting to play out.... it was better in the old days... you went over drawn and the manager was on the blower.. you wanted a mortgage it was about two and a half times your yearly and you could go in that price range... we had sod all thirty years ago.... but we had a laugh and we didnt have debt.... no one gave it to us...

If the gov print money all they a doing is covering over leveraged houeholds and zombie businesses.

I saw a docu usa based... chief ex fed person... said most households treat their homes like atm’s.

Every two years change deal when current one expires and remortgage to cover credit cards, car loans etc... some have been doing that for years.. okay while your house is going up.... but what goes up... comes down.

Now there will be umpteen households across the uk about to get caught in the remortgage trap ... too many debts, lowering property value swallowing equity...uncertain labour market...

Long before the banks go pop..... i think households first, biz second, and the banks majors will win.

i think 4 quids about justified.... i was just reading that footfall is <50% on last year... still a miracle mind you, but that the west end is <80+% down.

unless these retail gurus, both of them, pull their fingers out last weeks "surge" in pent up shoppers will make a dead cat bounce look like a miraculous recovery x 5.

to get shoppers in they need to test on the doorstep, staff included.

most if not all retailers are too bone idle/stupid to comprehend that a long que is an offput...

I went to a garden center yesterday... long que, more staff than customers.. with two tills working...

99.999 recurring % of uk non essential retailers, disillusion.... in too much debt... cant pay the landlords.. over stocked with crap... discount, discount and discount... when all they need do is organise testing using gdr's poc kit....
