The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
It's the suspension of drilling that is the most depressing. Drill results props it up, by which I mean 3-5 percent a day drop then a 50 percent increase with drill results followed by the 5 percent drops. Radio silence is the death march.
Chris2 - They're probably not traders. I sold GGP sub 1p listening to how great everyone on here is and how stupid and naive I was by buying it in the first place. Just regular people investing LT? but stupid enough to read these boards - myself included :-)
If I believed in ufo and invested 5000k sterling I wouldn't sell if my holding hit 6000k. If I did that I'd only own 1000k of the company I initially invested in. If I trusted my research and my initial investment I'd still like to own 6000k? We all know it's a gamble
Your making the point for me. If everyone thinks like that then the stock (AIM) crashes after ever rise because everyone takes their initial investment out if they don't get a quick follow up rns and lets (what?) 10 percent ride.
I think they start mining in 2023 - sure I read it somewhere? So will be on ships and not in the ground then. This is why I wonder if the price is already priced in. I don't think it is but happy to hear if I'm wrong
Got 4 million of these bad boys now. Directors don't spunk their money away and they know more than me. One question is once production starts can we expect a major jump in SP? I'm guessing it might be priced in but after the last 'placing' i'm not so sure? Might just be be me not seeing anything but an upside but I've been wrong before
Just to add - when I first invested £1/share wasn't a dream. Seems totally unrealistic now which I don't particular understand because over the last few years there hasn't been any bad news I can see and the company seems to be in a better position? So 50p for me would feel slightly disappointing in the longer term. WTFDIK
I keep banging on about it but it's the lack of news. Spikes like a good one but it's got a bit of a reputation for it now rather than being a LTH play. It's a traders share. Having said that I'm still waiting for the long progressive sustained rise (rightly or wrongly).
The directors involvement in the last placing says alot? I'm surprised it dropped below the placing price to be honest. I'm sure they know better than us. It's AIM so no news is bad news. I'd only wory if they start off loading
No news is bad news unfortunately with OMI - either 50 to 100 percent in a day or drip drip drip. Even as a LTH I'm starting to wonder what the big pay day could be. I'd be pleased for any comforting words as I watch it go for 18p to now. And yes I watched it go from the fourtys to 8 also. Averaged down to cicra 15p break even. I'm loosing faith!
