To Admin this is not your most glorious moment in my opinion. You allow derampers, shortens, swampies and nimbys to continue to damage the reputations of UK companies and harm pi interests with misleading posts, yet ban a knowledgable and respected poster that adds to the knowledge and understanding of us less well informed investors.

Shall we start the day with some positive thinking? Very exciting year ahead.

Remember that the staggering rise in BMN share price over the last two years has come about because the CEO delivers on his promises. So how about some things that BMN have delivered:

BMN announced the Mokopane vanadium play in November 2013 and developed this into a plan to become a low cost vertically integrated primary vanadium play. And they are well on the way to delivering that.

BMN announced their intention to purchase Vametco. The first stake was successfully concluded, with the help of Yellow Dragon, at a ridiculously cheap price of around $17 million when vanadium prices were at rock bottom. My understanding get is that this included about $12 million of market ready stock !!! I believe SP Angel described this as possibly the best deal they had seen. Delivered!!

Concern at the time was expressed about Yellow Dragon but FM assured shareholders that there was nothing to worry about. Sure enough BMN acquired YD stake, bringing their interest in Vametco to 59% and therefore the Vametco profits can now be shown in the accounts. Delivered!!

A placing was carried out to provide funds for three purposes, all of which have been delivered and including buying out Sojitz to bring the Vametco interest to 74%. Delivered.

Tin spin off. Delivered.

Throughout this period the price of Vanadium was rising, just as Fortune had predicted, though in fairness it may have risen higher and raised the profits at Vametco to an even greater level than he expected. This has been reflected in a rapidly rising share price, and rightly so in my opinion.

We were also promised a three phase expansion programme at Vametco.
Phase 1 delivered.
Phase 2 delivered.
Phase 3 underway.
Target annual production rate of 5000 mtV by (end of?) 2019

First VRFB to be commissioned shortly.
Dividend policy soon?
Brown field site / Mokopane licence - awaiting news

And yes. In the end it is all about the share price. And haven't shareholders had two great years on that account. In my opinion so much more to come.

So Fortune has a track record of delivering for the shareholders. I expect that to continue.

Thanks for that BB. You are right of course ... it is more than just luck. One of the best investments I have ever made was the investment in time and a return railway ticket to London on 27 November 2013. Attending the ProActive presentation by Fortune Mojapelo on the day they announced the Mokopane vanadium project literally changed my life. I listened to Fortune make his presentation and met him later in the evening. I was immensely impressed with this young CEO and have supported him ever since.

Perhaps a sign of things to come but at that presentation the organisation held a raffle for six bottles of Champagne. My partner at the time and myself won a bottle each. Well 5 years later I really have something to celebrate!

Positive thinking got me through the bad days of low BMN sp and confident that health will be fine.

FT buying a share then seeing it fall is just part of life on AIM where shares can be very volatile and almost impossible the top or the bottom. My first purchases of BMN in 2013 were in the range 3.8p to 5.5p. I then saw the sp fall to 3p and was underwater for the better part of 3 years, including at one point the sp dropping below 1.5p. I believe I was then 60% down. However I did use that price to grab more and reduce my average significantly.

I never lost faith because first I invested in the management and second the resources and business plan were so good. Today I am hugely in profit in % terms. Yet my last top up was at 47p. Not bothered because long term the prospects for this share look so good.

If you invested for the right reasons the short term fluctuations in share price should not bother you.

I should add that I am not a fan of shareholders emailing a company and trying to tell the CEO what to do. Perhaps on this occasion the issue is sufficiently important to advise on our opinion.

I couldn't agree more pb940. Perhaps that is something that shareholders should be communicating directly to the company, particularly those who have been here a long time and supported the company when it had no other revenue stream. This company should be in a very strong position when seeking out serious institutional investors.

993444 what you write is all very plausible at first glance. However none of those other shares that you refer to has the benefit of trade by trade analysis that Alfa has carried out. Alfa has identified that over a period of time there has been a very significant imbalance of buys over sells. Alternative explanations to his conclusions most definitely need to account for that huge discrepancy or they do not fully explain what has gone on.

I am no great fan of conspiracy theories but on this occasion there is a significant amount of data to back up the theory.

As for your comments with regard to JM again perfectly reasonable points ..... IF each of the companies are producing a high value commodity in a shortage market, generating very significant profits. Otherwise you are not comparing like with like. And let's not forget that over the last 14 months SP Angel targets for BMN have been reached in 3 - 4 months or less. Does that also apply to each of those examples that you quote? The 87p target was set in early November. We would all like that to be achieved by Feb / March!

I agree that 2019 looks very exciting in terms of sp.

Ja51 I am neither agreeing or disagreeing with you. Sorry to say that I am highly suspicious of your motives given your posting history and negativity.

My post was merely to prove that there has been enough oil produced at Brockham over the period others were discussing to necessitate at least one tanker full and possibly more. Whether that oil has been removed from site or some remains in storage tanks I would suggest that without inside knowledge neither of us can answer.

I am delighted that the Weald oil companies are working hard to produce from these wells in order to reduce the UK dependency on imported oil from far less well regulated parts of the world and to remove the risk of large environmental disasters such as the wreck of the Exon Valdez through transporting large quantities of oil across oceans.

Like most people with any concern for and understanding of environmental issues I look forward to the day when we depend far less on oil. Until that time comes then it is critical that we become more self reliant by producing UK oil for political economic and environmental reasons. Nimby's will of course try to halt progress but in the end they will fail.

Just a matter of time until we find out how well Brockham will perform.

Total 1213 b/oil produced March to September.

I don't know why total for September suddenly jumps to 25 bopd. If, and I admit this is a big if, September production rate continued in Oct Nov and Dec that would be another 2,300 b/oil produced.

In theory the well could have produced 3,513 b/oil since March. Of course production for Oct - Dec is pure speculation. However even the already published totals for Mar - Sep prove that there is more than enough oil to fill a tanker just from BRX2Y Portland. Tanker capacity 220 b/oil, production 1,213 b/oil. It is also possible that other tankers have removed some previously, just not seen. Equally if production continued beyond Sep then storage tanks could be nearly full, necessitating what could of course be yesterday's tanker.

This is all speculation. However the one certainty appears to me to be that the Portland alone has produced more than enough oil to fill at least one tanker.

Could get very exciting once Kimmeridge comes on stream.

This is only my opinion and could be wrong but the market, however it is being manipulated today, appears to be presenting a great buying opportunity which I certainly did not expect to see at this price.

No doubt some will be taking advantage of the selling by others!

When oil confirmed to be flowing, and no doubt Pboo you would confirm that as soon as you have that info (nudge nudge wink wink), then the sp likely to rise higher than now.

May I add that in my opinion since you began posting on this bb you have made a huge contribution to building positive sentiment and investor confidence. At the same time you have had to deal with the worries and concerns about the health of your wife. Just a personal observation this is not the moment I would choose to be selling ANGS. Think about it.

A disappointing RNS before Christmas drops the sp. It has not yet recovered to that pre Christmas level.

Market has been waiting a long time for oil production from Kimmeridge (all be it production testing). Yesterday a loaded tanker carrying crude oil (yes it was crude because that's what the legally required plate told us) is seen leaving the site. Could be first oil from Kimmeridge. That should drive sentiment.

Much activity in last week has been reported from site.

Sp has risen steadily over the last 5 working days from 10.40p to 12.28p (+18%). Reality is that the rise is greater but suppressed by the false figure caused by last night's late trade.

Looks to me like sentiment is returning and ANGS is on the rise. Remember in 2017 the sp touched highs over 35p on just sentiment. Even allowing for the 50% or so dilution since then there is scope for significant uplift from here with commercial oil.

This is AIM and nothing is guaranteed, but looking good.
