I agree RK. No need for abuse whatsoever. Countering their nonsense with positives about BMN is surely ok.

However these individuals appear with the intention to disrupt and try to damage our investment. I am simply not prepared to do nothing!

If suspicious, all people need to do is report and request identity check. Remember these multi-identity characters are breaking LSE rules. All I'm saying is bring them to Admin's attention. They do act.

Lindon I am not aware of any defining rule about when to release Quarterly updates so I can only go on BMN's past history. Since beginning the practice every Q update has been released within 2 months of end of quarter. In the absence of any contrary information it is not unreasonable to think that they will continue to do so.

Interims and Final Results are separate accounting requirements covering the BMN group. Thus in 2018 3 separate Q updates were released in each of Q1 and Q2 (then later the Interims were published). I expect the same pattern to be repeated for Q4.

Having said that I am also hoping that the Vametco / Vanadium Q4 update will include Ebitda figures for both Q4 and H2, much the same way that the Q2 V update displayed Ebitda for both Q2 and H1.

However I am struggling to ignore the 9 separately published Q updates throughout 2018!

They did Daisan but you said it yourself. In 2017 it was very inconsistent. Therefore I have ignored 2017.

The company changed their financial year to calendar year for 2018 to aligne with (SML) and Vametco. See below. Whether linked or coincidentally they appear to have tightened up their Q Update policy and throughout this year have been far more consistent with separate updates. That is why I expect that policy to continue. The evidence points to it.

"Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), is an integrated vanadium producer with additional investments in coal, power and tin, announces that it has agreed to change its accounting reference date, with immediate effect, from 28 February to 31 December in order to align the Company's accounting reference date with that of Strategic Minerals Corporation Limited and its subsidiaries including Bushveld Vametco Alloys (Pty) Ltd."

For what it is worth I don't like saving news for Q updates. Too much info in one RNS with risk that some pi's will not read and digest properly. However that is BMN's policy.

The factual part of your post is accurate. However I do not think we will have more of the same ie Vanadium, BE and Lemur all in one Q4 report, whether tomorrow or any other day. There are two reasons why I think this.

The first is that there is now too much going on at BMN to release just Q one update covering everything, and I really hope they don't do it! It would be just too much information for the market to absorb.

However my second reason is that throughout 2018 the company have followed a policy of releasing a separate Q update RNS for each of Vanadium, BE and Lemur. I am not aware of any indication that they are about to change this pattern. I therefore expect three separate Q4 updates.

Out of interest these are the release dates of Q updates from 2018:

Other than the Lemur update coming first there appears to be little consistency in terms of sequence or timing of these updates, other than within 2 months of the end of the Q. Perhaps I am easily pleased but I am just happy that vanadium prices seem to be going back up and reversing the recent fall.

It should be noted that even after the drop the prices were still high enough to make Vametco very profitable!

Looking forward to Q4 results which hopefully will include Q4 and / or H2 Ebitda figures. That should be very pleasing to the eye.

That is disgraceful and is aimed at genuine long term holders of BMN shares. People that willingly share their research and thoughts with everyone on this bb. In my opinion this rude individual deserved to be challenged.

Just listened to Any Questions (Radio 4) and question about the Nuclear issue and what do we do was discussed. Interestingly no panel members mentioned energy storage, including the Lib Dem panelist, except Graham Brady, chairman of 1922 Committee. He did refer to energy storage. In fact he said we are approaching a tipping point for energy storage.

Hallelujah ! Maybe there is hope. Someone in Govt has publicly acknowledged that there is a good future for renewables supported by energy storage.

Political attention may be elsewhere (!!!) so just not focussing on the real issues of our time and into the future. Pity as UK could be missing out.

That paper only refers to the Portland in terms of the fault sealing the oil. The Portland is a relatively thin oil bearing later (eg 30 to 40 metres at HH). The Brockham oil bearing Kimmeridge is about 200 metres of naturally fractured limestones and shales. Unless I am mistaken the impact of the fault on this zone is not discussed in the paper, and I doubt the effect of the fault would be so significant in isolating different parts of the Kimmeridge. Although I have a geology degree I am not an expert in this field so Alan would be better able to give an informed opinion.
