That has been proven to be the correct strategy so I find it puzzling that you are now encouraging people to pursue a course of believing in the bod when you obviously don’t believe in them yourself. Uggy, It annoys me to see this ramping bull sheet repeatedly posted, urging people to believe the rhetoric when the strategy that worked recently was to totally ignore the rubbish about news rich periods and monetisation and shareholder value and sell out. That’s just a fact. Those of us who took the bod at face value have lost out. The scheptics who didn’t believe the strategy and sold are the ones who made a packet. I learn from my own mistakes and also from successful strategies of others. This will just get the nuts traded off it now and any news will be heavily sold into, largely because that strategy has been borne out to be the only one that was successful.

Those of us who have been in here over two years know the bull off by heart. The simple fact is: The Mcap has 6 bagged from 10 mill to sixty mill and the sp is still where it was when many of us bought in over two years ago. 4 months ago they did a bunch of videos promising a “news rich period” approaching and impending monetisation and delivering shareholder value. Since then we’ve had leaked volumetrics for WN that they didn’t even want to release and a damaging placing that murdered shareholder value and will take years to recover from. I’m over the ramping bull sheet thanks. Getting out with a profit with the placees is now target number one for most of us.

In H2 possibly. But not until the B wells are drilled and tested. And only if successful. Long way to go yet. Patience required.

It’s almost four months since testing equipment left the WNA2 wellpad and it was shut in. I will believe it is restarting again when RBD and UJO inform the market as such via a regulated RNS update and we see equipment arriving at the wellpad. My mantra for investment is: If it isn’t in an RNS it’s most likely bullsheet. I await RNS confirmation.

It’s clear that you are 100% faithful sh17e talker, but I prefer to invest based on facts, information and news flow, not what I am urged to “believe” by bloggers like yourself who have no practical professional experience of the oil industry. UJO has become a faith based stock with disciples expected to follow gurus, like being in the moonies. As I said, I’ll see where it is in mid January. I want to see equipment arriving at WNA2 to restart that flow test. Until that happens I’ll await confirmation of what the next steps Rathlin will take to proceed with PEDL183. I won’t be taking your word for anything and nobody else should either. I make decisions based on the RNS, not bull sheet interviews, blogs or shady 3rd party fabricated mobile phone conversations. I’ll believe testing is restarting at WNA2 when it’s in an RNS and equipment arrives on that wellpad. Not before.

The fact remains, you took the placing having sold out previously on inside information. It’s clear that all you twatter rampers who are deliriously happy with that discounted placing you took are very happy with your good fortune having sold out before it. I stand by my assessment, which is no indictment of the bod either positive of negative: If there is no news on WN or Wressle by January then your placing bargain won’t look so cheap. Let’s see where we are in January. In my opinion there is significant risk in buying here until work programs and newsflow going forward is clarified.

Rinse and repeat then sh17e talker. If there’s no news of Wressle approval and no news of EWT resumption at WN by January then this SP will start to drift under the placing price. Volume will dry up and the MMs will tick it down daily to try to make a market.
My assessment is that you lot have been pumping Wressle approval as such a done deal that it’s already priced in anyway. Let’s see where we are in January. No happy clapping for me yet mr sh17e talker.

I never said it was brilliant, or even usual or uncommon. The very opposite in fact. Selling out of onshore focused uk oilers is what the majority of the market will do in the event of a Labour majority. No point trying to hide it like it’s some sort of secret strategy. It isn’t. It’s the common sense thing to do. Nothing secret about it.

That makes me happy Fairview. If Labour do get in and I’m selling out, the more clowns that hold while I get out, the better. Good luck with your strategy.

In my opinion. Traders will take risk off the table to hedge against the eventuality of a Labour government. If you are brave, confident of a Tory majority and not risk averse then tomorrow afternoons dip could be a good time to buy. If the tories get in then uk oilers will gap up Friday morning. If Labour get in then I don’t give a sheet because I’ll be selling out of every uk based Oiler with onshore assets which is currently RBD and ujo. I’ll buy trashed offshore oilers hoping for a recovery but further investment in uk onshore projects will be pulled under a Labour government.

Rathlin could well be happy to wait for the drilling of WNB-1 later in the year to appraise the Kirkham Abbey rather than re enter WNA-2, yes. That’s very possible.

JimmyBob; In answer to your question: Reabold are not sitting on the £24Million any longer. They have already paid Rathlin £16Million for a larger stake. Rathlin could well be happy to sit on the money though, if as Manwell says, WNB is a more optimal location to test KA. Rathlin don’t care about the RBD share price. Why should they? Rathlin’s financial success is in no way linked to the RBD share price. They’ve got the cash. It’s now up to them to decide when and where they spend it. SW is on the Rathlin board as as majority shareholder RBD will have a lot of clout but the work program will be Rathlin’s call. S&S will defer to them on all things technical. S&S are city finance lads, not oilers. Rathlin are still running the show.

Thanks for the reply Manwell. That makes sense. It would be nice to be told officially either way. This is a hold from me until further official clarification is received. Keeping powder dry to buy more lower if there is a big WN delay in to the summer.

Manwell; Why do you think testing of WNA2 has not resumed? Initially I thought permits and planning but can’t find any applications. As time dragged on past nov I began to suspect that Kirkham Abbey will only be appraised from WNB-1 but I can’t work out why they wouldn’t just do it from WNA-2 as they said they would. What has led them to decide not to re enter WNA2 and opt to drill another appraisal well? It’s an expensive option. Why would they do it? Is a re perf of WNA2 risky? What’s your assessment?

That’s not what I said is it. I think WNA2 won’t be tested. If it’s tested at all it won’t be until after WNB wells are drilled. WNB-1 is now the appraisal well for the Kirkham abbey and that will be drilled in July hopefully the tested in Aug/Sep. if they can’t get the necessary level of data to prove the discovery to a point of sale, then and only then would they re enter WNA2. That would be the end of the year. This is dependent on Rathlin doing what they say they would do on the drilling program. Rathlin have been spinning all sorts of yarns at the residents liaison meetings. Rathlin have the money. Execution of the work program is dependent on Rathlin paying out the cash but they aren’t a listed company are they. That’s why I won’t be relaxed here until work restarts because the current silence makes me suspicious that Rathlin are not proceeding with the work program and I want to know why.
