tbh think you right 140p is going to be a push. adjusting sp as max then 2/3rds
I would jump off this and look for more value. 19p was the bargain doubt there is more than 20p (25%) in this.
cant believe hss is still at 33p.

I do watch shares that drop.
a lot. buy low sell high is the best answer.
I have never shorted anything although perhaps I should try it on occasions.
there are going to be people who have seen their share drop a lot here. I am not trying to put them off. hold them
its a stop the freefall trick that works sometimes.
if its their directors seeing it as value then you need to look at something like GMS marine. where they bought it at the absolute bottom and it recovered.
then you realise proactis directors either aren't on the ball or have lost half their money in the last month.
Or some could have bought twice as much if they had waited?!?
i am sure they had shareholders at heart i reall really do. i am sure they believe in the company.
just sometimes its so overvalued it corrects. if the company is that cheap use profits and savings to buy shares in itself.
as you say, one thing it has done is create a sticking point on the recovery price.
at 38p an 60p ish.
its sitting at 30 ish for now I thought low 20's or 30's when I first saw it in freefall.
how long it will take to get to 38 and 60 are two points then back over a pound is another matter.
should be pretty instant if the figures are as good as you say.

board buy ins and sells can be read in a number of ways.
as the directors at interserve didn't have a large buy on the last drop (to 5p at xmas) I dont know how i knew to avoid. you know where there are 4 or 5 loosing 20 or 30 grand. at such a bargain price. when the whole deal looks like going south anyway. but that was a guess.

the management buy ins will be sticking points just as much as 30 has some natural resistance. so will 40 and the 38.
(today you can see the overall slow sell trend).
to me (and others iirc and you can be arsed to read back) it looked like the kitchen sink was thrown at the sp drop.

I they did pull the recovery back down. I have never seen an offer of a lower value than its trading PRICE before.

they reckoned 33p and 18p as the sticking points years back . been sittin at 10 to 15 for a while.
is it a short term in at 12 out at 15 or wait till oil comes round again?
they had (with irish gov) some concern over licence extensions.
but they were talking about expanding into renewables.
makes sense they have contacts with offshore workers and there is money (in subsidies) to get that project up and running it may well be another string to a changing offshore environment.
There are occasionally some serious buys on there (and sells), doesn't always effect the price.

gwmo. funding. is the real one to look at.
again it seems to have a few values where the sp sits at under 50 when they are not drilling normally. if you can get in at 30 or less and they find a bit copper when they drill you could be selling at much better than a quid,
iirc there looking at 2%copper content as a good find.
they measure in 30 metre blocks.
but there are significant shareholders that some on these boards reckon manipulate the price,

quote "it will go back to 85p" and "65p return coming" are the only quotes on here.
It was overvalued, "the company borrowed at the top (good for them).
its rerated because there isn't the growth there. its corrected.
is it a the bottom? maybe hit 30 resistance? maybe, will it go to low 20's? will I get to buy in at 19p? would be nice.
will it recover to just under the directors buy ins at 50 to 60p? most probably. In time............
didn't want a 19p heading on there as some dont (and with the drop it has had) and wont see the joke.

think if the rock is the wrong type where they drill the porous rock adds a twist.
