In Zambia at its Kabwe Sable Refinery, the Company continues to make significant progress with the successful completion and commissioning of the cobalt production line to compliment the producing copper refinery and sulfuric acid plant. This is in-line with the Company's strategy of establishing a multi-metal refining capacity in Zambia targeting both Jubilee's current surface assets as well as identified third party producers. The construction of the zinc circuit has been hampered during this period with current restrictions enforced on the movement of equipment and supplies across borders.

As previously announced during 2018, Jubilee entered into an agreement with BMR Group Limited ("BMR") whereby Jubilee was appointed the sole operator of the Kabwe Project (the "Agreement"), giving it full control over the Kabwe Project and taking ownership of the nearly 6.5 million tonnes of surface tailings material containing lead, zinc and vanadium held under the small scale mining right owned by a BMR subsidiary. Under the Agreement Jubilee also retained the right to process future material mined under the small scale mining right held by BMR. Jubilee has now made application to the Zambian authorities for the transfer of the small scale mining right to its nominated subsidiary.

In addition, on 14 April 2020 Galileo Resources PLC ("Galileo") announced their acquisition of all mining rights from BMR (the "Acquisition") excluding the Kabwe small scale mining licence and associated rights to property and plant held by Jubilee at the Kabwe Project. Jubilee has, pursuant to the Acquisition and its rights held under the Agreement, entered into formal discussions with Galileo to enforce Jubilee's rights to secure the processing at industry standard terms, of any future material held under these mining rights. The processing of third party run of mine material is consistent with Jubilee's strategy to complement the existing feed from its Kabwe surface waste material with third party material.

Couple of things said that caught my ear;

We have to look at why the share price has performed the way it has and you can be sure that where there are things we can do to improve, we are looking into that.

If you have a business that is generating cash, that is solid, that is growing one would hope that in time the markets would get to appreciate that.

Nothing sells the story better than delivering on our promises.

Iron ore futures drive 62% iron ore prices higher to $84.5/t in Dalian, China
• Blast furnace utilisation rates at 247 steel mills rose to 81.68% in China as of April 30 (Mysteel)
• Steel producers expect a resumption of construction activity combined with government stimulus to boost demand for steel in the second half
• One Chinese city is already offering to rebate of half of all property purchase tax back to buyers this year to help kick start the property market
• The government is also looking to give Rmb1,000 cash ($128) to buyers as a further incentive. Not sure that’s going to make much of a difference but the idea is nice.
• We expect other governments to look to incentivise buyers to restart property markets.
• The city of Wuhan is also working to increase land supply and encourage new property construction for small and medium size apartments.
• Prices for steel products are also rising in China similarly with Steel inventories in China falling 5.4% in late April
• Inventories of steel products continued to fall in the run up to the country's Labour Day holiday, according to the China Iron and Steel Association.
• Steel inventories in 20 Chinese cities stood at 16.24mt at the end of April, down 930,000t from the 20th of April (SMM).
• Ferro-vanadium and coking coal should also start to rise as demand rises against limited production.

Too true pdub, Bushveld and in turn Fortune and Mikhail just don’t seem to have had the reward for the achievements they have made.

It’s just a shame the bb has to put up with such unpleasant individuals.

I think lse should have a positive and negative bb for each share then people can flit between the two if they want balance or just sit in a pit of misery on the negative board or in a sea of sparkles and sunshine on the positive one :)

Evidently, that view is based on you thinking that a reasoned discussion can be had on an AIM share with the amount of exposure Bushveld now has. Too many short term manipulators looking to pick away, not for reasoned discussion but to affect those investors ‘giving AIM a go’ and doing the investing bit before the research bit and finding themselves under water. Then they develop hindsight investing which allows them to have made the best investment ever ‘if only’ leaving them very susceptible to those that are shorting or wanting a cheaper buy in. This leaves them believing what everybody says and buying/selling based on that.

If you invest in a company wanting it to succeed that success would be a positive for the individual investor, the rest of the investors in a company, the company itself and its workers.

The other type of investing just reveals a very negative personality trait about the individual whereby they seem happy to involve manipulating people’s emotions, to use this to help drive a share price down, to use software to hit the bid while
bombarding a bb with more negativity, creating multiple users sometimes to back up the negative comments from their other account. It’s duplicitous, deceitful and everything unpleasant about the selfish human psyche.

Buts that’s just my opinion. Like I say I couldn’t care less what everyone else wants to do, just don’t try and tell me what I should do with my shares. And no, I ain’t shoving them where the sun don’t shine :)

Heres a comment from one of posts in March about BMN when COVID was starting to take hold. Says it all as far as I'm concerned;

I doubt anyone of reasonable intelligence really believes that BMN will fail because of this development. Those proclaiming they will, if indeed well read, are clearly looking to take advantage of the situation.

It's definitely draining listening to the negativity. Luckily I had a breakdown a few years ago and am still on anti-depressants so don't give a sh it :)

Alfa said he was taking May off the bb due to the incessant miscreants appearing and BBN had said a while ago that everything in his opinion was setup for Bushveld to achieve what it says it will. and didn't feel the need to particularly post that often.

Good job you did munchbox as Friday is a Bank Holiday and you wouldn't have got any :)

They said the dividend announcement changed due to the Vanchem opportunity arising. Pretty sure dividends in future will be larger due to the decision the board took.

So over 4 years of basic salary he had the temerity to be awarded 7,000,000 shares after taking Bushveld to a mine owning/operating company. I'd say that was fair enough compared to some other companies I've been involved in.

Did you miss the Peel Hunt questions before JM and BMO?

So in the Q&A Fortune said they applied to run the mine at a reduced rate early in the lock down so there was some production during that period.
