Still holding a few here. Have been wondering how they'll get on with the interest rates rising? Could that necessitate another raise simply to cut down on borrowing expenses?

Think they should wait for crypto to stabilise first. If the article I posted earlier was correct then they'll have to shell out a lot less for the next 3MW (should they take it) whilst still selling the same amount of gas to keep the machines running.

As Bitcoins off went to check and yes price of bitcoin miners comes off too, arguably at a faster rate than bitcoin does so cost of capital if they want to go for the 4MW should lower with the price.
A drop to 20K on BTC whilst they set up could be better than a rise to 40K.

Seems to be a pattern forming here. Bears coming on knocking the bulls and claiming to be victims whilst doing so.
If this is a one sided board its because the bears are making it so.

From interviews end 1MW BTC system costs around $3 million to set up.
They sound to have a very competent partner imo.

From the above can't find a problem with the maths and they can use 880mcf if they go for the 4MW play or a quarter of their gas production.
Wonder what investment is needed? Would guess minimal if they just want to sell the gas more so if they want to be a full partner in bitcoin profits.

Did initially seem to read that way but you put me right. Is that an issue?

They can go a lot larger on the bitcoin side it seems which to me sounds a bit of a must given all he could say about the pipeline was it was expected sometime in 2023 which with no flaring makes the paradox play a stranded asset for sometime without the BTC deal I'd of thought?
Just starting to research CryptoKnight Energy. Was set up by a geologist, encourages its oil and gas partners to invest in the BTC side to share profits not just gas delivery and states "We work on projects as small as 15 mcfd and as large as 2 mmcfd, with opportunities to go larger through phased buildouts."

My read is they may build a bigger crypto facility down the line if the beta test goes well. They'd need enough gas to power it first which they likely can't commit to whilst the well is on long term test?
I'd prefer limited use of crypto facilities myself and some patience whilst the pipeline is built but if they've got the gas, can't flare it and crypto stays high enough than guess they'll use it tis way?

They're telling us that the crypto mining facility itself will be constrained not the flow its all quite clear.

Interesting point Evan but its not the flow rate thats "constrained" its the crypto facility that's constrained by the amount of gas flowing from one well.

Sounds like crypto will be quite an efficient user of the gas while the co' waits on its pipeline.

So they could be producing and selling an additional 1000BOPD in 8-12 weeks on top of owning and running the crypto facility which is expected to return its investment in 12 months.
Could be a lot worse imo.

Its always been the gas logistics we've been waiting for. Deal with the gas and they can produce the oil.
