I am more interested to know whether the brines have arrived or not. Is anybody else asking Clon about this or just me chasing them?

‘Clueless’ is an understatement. I would go as far as saying we have about 10 complete buffoons on this board who have absolutely no idea. But they know this and just want to get into some fights via petty childish insults.

Personally i ignore them and focus on the task at hand - HOLD THE BOD TO ACCOUNT.

They continually embarrass themselves and I am confident one or two of them have multiple profiles and ‘back each other up’.

When DH decides to actually do some work (as little as that may be) he must look at this board and hope and pray that I can be silenced. He cannot believe how gulable some people are on this board. They believe every RNS and interview of his without any question.

Whereas with me I question, do research, email the bod and try to what litttle I can to hold them to account. I was part of the PET shareholder revolt a few years ago and really got to see first hand how little regard DH and the BOD have for their shareholders

We are now fats approach QTR 2 and from all the hype about news in QTR 1 and how the plant would be built by July it’s highly likely both these things won’t happen which would be a testament of the existence of Clontarf energy. Lots of talk and potential but no actual success or completed work.

KCRHR - quite the opposite . Mistrust in the process and awarding of contracts could set the whole project back years. This is much wider than tiny old Clon and their community engagement talk.

7 Months since any clear update. Does it take that long to provide a non sensitive update on whether brines have arrived or not?

I don’t accept the view that it’s good news and another ‘competitor is out of the way’. You cannot compare us to gazprom.

I think its demonstrates the sheer level of frustration that companies can have dealing with the jokers in Bolivia. They have been hyping up bolivias lithium since the 1980’s and 45 plus years on it has only recently started to make some level of progress.

Many companies have been frustrated dealing with the government. Just ask the German company that signed the deal with the previous government! It’s show the volatility and ease at which years of discussions and due diligence etc can be thrown in the bin in an instance.

Elections approaching in August and same can happen. We can defend Clon and say it is bolivias fault. Some here will blame the Ghana government. Add the list of Australian government for sasonof drill and add chad while you are at it. No urgency with their work over the past 25 years. They have this incredible skill of keeping shareholders interested immeditaley after failing at something

In all the many years I have communicated with DH and the board I must say I do not ever recall him never responding to any email over such a long period of time.

I think it may well be news of some kind and it could be the worst news or the best but nothing in between

‘Should be good’ as long as they have even a basic level of competency. My view is there is no way any half decent Company even with a dreadful track record should mess this up. But anything is possible with DH and BOD.

Yes you are correct and that’s the frustrating part for many of us genuine investors . We are all in the dark. We make assumptions based on articles but communication has been so dreadful. Since last year we have had nothing and that is worrying. Just a simple update of status would be the right thing to do. But diddly squat.

It’s now April but the next few weeks are critical. We should not be here in June and still all be in the dark.

There will be some saying ‘it’s take a bit of time’ but surely twenty years is long enough?

I encourage any poster that does NOT want to hear the truth and is in denial of facts to use the filter option. I know people who only want to hear positive news and are incapable of being objective. Once they are in favour of a company or person no evidence or facts can make them change their views.

@eagleeye - I recall somebody posted around November time that DH had sent a reply stating that an RNS was due to be released subject to clearances from the Bolivian government. It’s been 4 plus months now , surely it doesn’t take 4 months to get clearance? If that is the case then any potential confirmation news will take years.

@djm with all due respect asking those questions which are correct and fair demonstrate little understanding of this company. I assume you are a new investor.

You could also ask what the point is of Clon spending 15 years building ‘excellent relationships’ with the Ghanaian government, flying often there and setting a partnership with a Ghanaian company and the conclusion? A 10 year stalemate and unlikely nothing will happen. What was the point?

To think that out of all that garbage people here quote from some of their news and reference it like it has any meaning.

As I have stated before. If we don’t hear back by end of this month (even if it’s just to confirm brines have or have not arrived) then things don’t look good. Elections in August and lots of political turmoil expected.

Yes rebel that’s the point. There are new posters here some only a few days old who are attempting to hijack this board and tell others that anybody who has doubts are derampers and negative. When Clon announced on Friday that there would be no placing I remember the amount of posters quoting this as some kind of gospel truth.

Then looked at the 100% u turn and total utter contradiction only two days others. And yet here we stand with posters doing the same thing.

Some posters here are so blinded by faith in DH they have lost any ability to be ‘objective’. DH must truly love these folks as he can do anything without any account.

Once again nobody is requesting DH to share deal making information. We are not that naive! We are simply asking Clon to confirm whether brines have arrived or not as stated in their RNS.

The danger here is that too many people are making possibly ‘wile assumptions’ based on ‘no news’.

Imagine a guy who has failed on every business deal possible over two decades talk about a project with excitement and hope. Would any of you invest?

So far the track record is terrible. I cannot get my head round people quoting previous ‘RNS quotes’ as if the company has a great track record and we can believe what they say.

Other companies regularly provide updates such as ‘ core has been extracted and will be sent for testing’. No RNS required just basic news.

Nobody is asking for DH to provide any sensitive news but come on people, what’s the harm I saying’brines not yet received it received’?
