What’s the likely so just on extension news? I’ve been here a long long time and delays seem to be part of the makeup of this company. Go back to 2008 when they were so ‘close’.

However I does feel like they will get the extension soon but still can’t believe how slow everything works. I am not just talking about in Cameroon but South Africa too.

Refreshing to see a mature and pro active approach Yannis. I will follow this up again too. Make them realise that there are some genuine investors here who will continue to hold the BOD to account.

More respect to you gentlemen. I will do the same. Refreshing to see positive action and some kind of pressure to the BOD.

At least they are supporting me in putting the spotlight on the BOD instead of petty point scoring with fellow investors. I received the same cope and paste reply but at least it draws attention to them that some investors will try and hold them accountable.

@mannan - that’s certainly what it has looked like over the past 25 years. Bolivia is a mess and clone communication has been dreadful. The only nice thing was DH replying to emails quickly but with no useful information at all (RIP).

Worried this company just might finish and close unless they find someone to continue but odd against them.

I regularly email them and occasionally call. They know my voice and I can sense the annoyance ‘why does this guy interrupt my Netflix movie’ on the staff thinks.

Always been very poor and they have to act soon. I suspect they have no plan B. Never thought about it and that’s why their partners in USA and MUMBAI must be having sleepless lights. They have come this far in some respects yet it could all be meaningless due to poor forward planning and risk management

@mrtriumph some people may think I should be flattered by the amount some few odd people have a fascination with me. They try to provoke me and enjoy having some much needed attention and having slanging match.

Where does it say that Clons partners must be having sleepless nights because of DH? They are having sleepless nights because of instability and uncertainties. So can you provide any evidence of DH making a success if Clon after 25 years?

DH may not have been a successful person based on his track record , but one thing he had was people skills. He had good contacts for sure and the company must be very stuck now. It will be difficult to find anyone to replace him as they will want financial numeration a whereas he enjoyed travelling around and networking so much.

The partners in Mumbai as well as nextchem must be having sleepless nights.

You have missed the hard facts and reality of the company’s progress over the past 25 years.

With regards to DH (RIP) I had a cordial and warm relationship with him. Around 50 plus emails and he knew me. I liked him as a person but in terms of any success or getting things over the line he failed to date.

I invested not because of personal relationships but of the potential and information I was provided and researched. Sadly little of that was true and was more of an exaggeration.

I can’t see any progress and anyone taking his role over but hope I am wrong.

Finding a new CEO will not be easy. No muh will take on the role. Dh (may he rest in peace) did his job more for personal reasons and he was happy jet setting around and feeling important. Each to their own

However getting any deal over the line and turning potential into something ‘real’ has not been achieved in a few decades.

I fear many many years will be added to the ‘project’ and we will have lots of ‘possibilities and ootenitail’ in any future RNS.

Hopeless company and cannot imagine somebody willing to take this on.

@robsaunders1 agree in every word. I was calling him a fraud 5 years ago and was show down directly every time but many clowns who mostly have disappeared but a few like Bitcoin exist. I can’t believe he stayed so long and was promoted. It was clear from his interviews that he was a complete blagger and hype man only. What a poor investment so far and for all the hype in pure bond not sure what any but have little confidence.

Thank you all for acknowledging common knowledge and the true reality. It’s clear that we have some people completely hypnotised by DH hence my cult following statement in previous posts. All they do is short down and silence the truth. I am not here to have petty arguments.

I am here to ask why they couldn’t even tell us the basic truth months ago about the massive parcel of brine and whether it arrived or not. Some people miss the very basics. I don’t blame anyone except the company that have continued to deceive for over two decades. Yes we are in a position now of slow negotiations and it amazes me that people can take about no misleading RNS statements when Chitta has kindly raised the obvious one.

Yes @asimpleinvestor, it’s rather comical actually. What’s clear is not one statement nor deadline nor word in their RNS can be trusted. It amazes me that some people here quote ‘DH or part of the RNS’ like its gospel. Can’t make it up. Yet they somehow keep stringing people along.

Not even approximate deadlines. Nobody even know what year anything will be delivered or any agreement made. Quite comical

With such poor communication with shareholders it feels like the blind leading the blind. I have been asking that very same question since October last year and now we are coming up to a year and as far as I am aware nobody has a clue. Nobody is asking the company to share confidential information. All we ask for is some level of respect and a small tweet to say ‘brines have arrived’ as a beta minimum would be appreciated by genuine investors.

No record, this is what they do. I am amazed that this board is so quiet . The BOD have free rein to do what they want and know there will be no backlash as investors are so passive and if anything, work hard on shooting down people who ask questions of them. Expect a few year delay which is again, how the BOD operate.

For me I am struggling to get my head round how DH can be involved in this for 20 plus years and after all that time it’s still a ‘punt’ and if very high risk.

For business minded people here (excluding a few posters here) it amazes me that somebody can start working in a small high risk company and after 25 years it’s got smaller and riskier than when it started out. Is that not the definition of a complete failure and a very incompetent leadership group?

Thank you Yannis for keeping the spotlight on Clon. Everything should be on Clon and any form of update would be appreciated by genuine investors even if it is to say that the brines have arrived. Tile is running out. Things need to move in fast as the world is changing and new companies and technology emerging
