I've got no idea to be honest, I've got 7093 of these 8.375% preference shares in my ISA, if I vote yes I get £1.52 per share which amounts to £10781.36, if I sold today at market price I get £9,823.81. I paid £7,962.66 for the shares a while back so my dividend return amounts to about 7.4% on my investment which is good enough.

My concerns are what will the shares be worth if the £200m shares are redeemed and cancelled, and if I wanted to sell after the redemption would there be problems.

Any shared thoughts would be appreciated.

No point in waiting, sold at a reasonable profit, so can't complain. I would have preferred to hold for the divis, but onwards and upwards.

I think TRIG is a pretty solid long term investment but it could bounce about a bit while we wait.

I bought a few more today but that still only brought my average price down to .8758, but if the interest rates drop a bit I am hoping it will at least meet my average. At least the dividends are nice while I wait.

I have held TRIG since 2020 and been in paper profit a few times, just not at the moment.

I managed to buy 6268 shares at .7045 on my Halifax account, its not fair if HL is preventing purchases.

Its certainly not showing any indication that this will be a solid investment. But its just not worth me selling the few shares I hold. In 5 or 10 years time it may prove me wrong.

I should say CRT are a very similar animal to PHP so it may not be worth holding both as it could lead to being a bit heavy in this area, but I thought they were cheap when I bought them last year.

I've held these since 2022, with hindsight (a wonderful tool ) I paid what now looks like a high price of £1.359, but a lot has happened since then. I've continued to add a few times and lowered my average to £1.10, and haven't sold once. I think this is a solid income play, with from here a good chance of some capital gain if/when the interest rates drop. I agree I read the latest news as positive, and will continue to add to my holding of 16218 shares as funds allow. I also hold IHR which may be worth casting an eye over if REITs appeal to you. I haven't held them as long as PHP but have 23266 of them so obviuusly I like them, but wont be adding more until I've raised my holding of PHP. ATB

Lots of potential, at least 6 people can see it today. The market is on fire £6.25 of stock purchased today(not by me). This time next century we will be minted, and dead of course.

This stock has been part of my portfolio for a little over 3 years, and a lot has changed over that short time. The lithium market has changed considerably with the prices falling, but the project has progressed better than I would have expected with very little slippage on the planned production date. I think the KOD team has performed brillantly. I still believe this will see 1p over the next 12 months although I feel a bit like a stuck record as I have been saying that for the last 12 months. I had expected to see maybe double that over a slightly longer time period. Once production is up and running, with any glitches resolved I think Hainan might look at KMUK, maybe KOD if they want the gold and other assets. I hope not as I would like to be proven correct as KOD hits 1p, so I guess the real questions are would Hainan want KMUK, and how much would they offer to buy KODs share of KMUK to make it a good deal for both parties. What would KOD be worth once divested of their share of KMUK. If Hainan wanted KOD how much would they need to pay. Unfortunately I'm full of questions but no answers.

I've held these since 2020, bought from £3.83 to £6.64. Average including costs is £4.7241.

I bought HSBA to get exposure to the Asian growth that I believe will outpace Euro markets for the next 10 years, and it's a view I still hold. I would add more to my holding and the current price wouldn't put me off, but at the moment I see some more promising short/medium term potential in some of the REITs I hold. I dont think HSBA is going to make me rich, but it is going to increase my wealth over the long term.

The Trump tarrifs are a pain however I think that the US may end up as the net loser. I suspect the board are more than capable of navigating through any problems that arise from US tarrifs on their investments.

If you want 'get rich quick' you will need to look elsewhere with much higher risk.

I hope you are right, I didn't start buying KOD until quite recently in January 22. Started with a very small investment just to follow the stock. I kept buying as news came in with the higest price paid of 0.87p. I knew that the price was based on small investor sentiment but given that sentiment I thought it might rise to 1p at which point I intended to sell. Not because I think KOD is a poor investment but because the price was based mostly on sentiment and did not reflect the substance at that time and I intended to reinvest at a later date when the froth had blown off the top. I did make one trade with, for me at least a very good profit. I still hold 13.39 million shares with what is currently a paper loss of £21k, even aftter taking into account my not insubstantial earlier profit. This time things are different, its still mostly driven by small PIs, and in some part by sentiment, but there is much more substance behind the price and I would suggest IMHO not a lot of froth. I'm not certain about your SP prediction within 8 weeks, but I do think it is now possible to see my 1p target over the next 12 months, the difference is this time I don't intend to sell.

Its always the same on any forum, when the SP moves any notable value people jump on board and start posting.

Its not the number of buys, but volume that shows the true sentiment.

Still just nickle and dime PI buys at the moment.

I think this will bob up and down for a short while yet, hopefully while slowly attaining slightly higher lows.

I don't believe we will see any real momentum until post April, but happy to see the improvement in sentiment.

Once we see some more substantial buys from PIs it should push the price a bit.

When KOD has cash through the doors and a few months of cash flow we may see a bit more from institutional investors, thats when I hope to see a real uptick.

You are correct dividends are not paid to shares held in treasury.

The value of the shares held by investors also does not increase due to there being fewer shares when a company cancels shares, hence my comment on where does the value come to the shareholder.

My only thoughts are that they may be buying shares when they see them as cheap, which I believe they are. By holding them in treasury they could at a later date offer them as part of a fund raise for investment in expansion, which could make sense given the borrowing rates, and dilution is never good for investor sentiment. This would in effect avoid dilution for existing share holders. Although I am not sure the fund rules would allow this if a profit was made through the buy vs sell price, unless a percentage of that profit was distributed to share holders. I'm sure there is a reason, and I doubt very much the board does not have a plan.

UKW continues with its purchase of its own shares.

It now holds 48,854,724 in treasury. If these shares are not cancelled, how does it help investors?

I have held UKW since 2020, the divi has been nice but overall as an investment for me its been a bit dissapointing. In those 4 years including divis and a couple of trades I am only up about 20.5%.

I will continue to hold and will add more if I think the price is right, perhaps after a couple of more interest rate drops,
