I hold about equal weight in both shares, I think they are both good for an income portfolio, but for capital gain I have no idea. In my ideal world I would like to see them merge into one company.

There are a lot of companies like this in the sector, and I suspect that over time mergers will take place to make the sector more profitable. It may be that if energy prices fall this will be the catalyst that forces companies to seriously look to mergers and acquisitions.

Buybacks never show any tangible benefit in the short term, but generally a good over the long term, once the shares have been canceled of course, which generally happens sometime after the total planned share buyback has been completed.

Once cancelled in essence we all then own a slightly bigger portion of the company.

Buybacks are good for those investors who hold long term, but pretty rubbish for traders or those who hold for a shorter timeframe.

There do seem to be a number of posters on this forum who seem to think KOD is going to multi bag and make them rich on the basis of SFA.

Its not.

Based on what I have seen so far I believe it will hit milestone after milestone in a professional manner.

While the EP was always a doubt at the back of my mind I never truly thought it wouldn't be granted, too many interested parties with too much to loose, not only with this project but from the MG viewpoint if they want to attract investment they have to be seen to play ball.

KOD is part owner in a mine at the moment, the EP has provided little increase in the value of the company and until it can show revenue flowing into the company there is not going to be any interest from institutional investors until this proof of profitability has been demonstrated.

Small time investors like you and I buying £5k, £10k of shares here and there isn't even going to move the needle.

I've got just over £92k in this stock and hope/expect this to give me a £30k to £40k profit, I'd like more of course but it is not going to make me rich in short order.

Just like any other junior miner (well the ones who survive), the company will gain value over time, if/when more enterprises come onstream like the gold, then the company will gain value.

I suspect once the first few shipments have been paid for and revenue starts coming in the SP will be somewhere above .5p, and over time will continue to rise.

I think KOD is proving to be a good investment case from what was only a couple of years ago an extremely high risk gamble.

The SP is simply what people are willing to pay for part ownership of a company.

Would you really be willing to pay 1p per share for KOD today, I certainly wouldn't, but in 6, 12, 18 months I might well think 1p is cheap.

There is not consistent fast shortcut to making money, if you was fast and inconsistent, buy a lottery ticket.

I can't find many genuine broker forecasts for KOD, I assume there are not many looking at KOD at the moment.

The two brokers who do show up are SP Angel and Canaccord Genuity, not much from SP Angel over the last 24 months and Canaccord Genuity nothing for about 7 months. The last forecast from Canaccord Genuity was 1p.

Eventually the price of lithium will find a level which makes it worthwhile for companies to produce it, if the price is low there is no incentive to develop new mines. We have seen several mines mothballed over the past few months.

There are predictions that the oversupply of lithium may fall into a deficit of 1500 tonnes in 2026, however from what I have read those mothballed mines can go back to full production in a matter of weeks, not months.

My personal view is that the price of lithium is too low to be viable over the long term, but don't expect ever to see the heady prices of a few years ago.

KOD is in a good position as a partner in a low cost producer to benefit from moderate lithium price increases.

1p would be a good start, 1p has always been my target to re-evaluate this stock.

Personally I can't see 1p this FY, maybe 2026-2027 FY.

At the moment I'm just very pleased to hit the export permit milestone.

Well Gazza I do know it will not be £8.

This feels very much like we are waiting for someone to turn the lights off, seems there is little investor interest in BHL, and no sign that things are going to change.

I fear the end is in sight.

I just tried to sell 4.6m shares, but the order wouldn't go through as a normal trade, only a negotiated trade, which I decided against.

Likewise total equity has been trending lower since 2021.

I think somewhere a little South of £1.10 SP would be about right, but interest rates are I suspect one of the reasons this is being held back, and this type of investment is out of favour at the moment, but I hope that will change over time.

I do think there is likely to be some MA activitiy in the renewables sector.

Based on current equity £1.03 per share, of course that ignors annual income, growth potential etc., but £2 per share is unfortunately equally simplistic, so somewhere inbetween would be nice.

Operating income has been trending upwards since 2021, but so has debt

The SP isn't my biggest worry as I'm here for the dividend, although I would be a bit more comfortable to see this trading in the 90p to £1 range.

As it stands I would consider adding below 80p.

Current holding 23463 of these shares at an average of 94.07p so hardly happy, but showing a small paper gain if I include dividends.

I do hope that over time this will move closer to NAV, but hopes and wishes count for little.

I don't know I'm afraid, so these are just my thoughts.

Regarding dividends, a non starter, no effect on CGT.

Regarding the asset, in effect we have not realised a loss, the asset still exists, we still own it, we just cannot access it.

If/when the asset is dissolved, it could be argued the loss has been realised and may be used to offset CGT, but at the moment we are just in limbo.

I've held these for a while, and while no one knows what will happen in 1,2,5,10 years, and while I am no financial professional, I have been investing for over 30 years,my view is this for what little its worth.

I personally wouldn't invest here at the moment, the risk is too high and there are better short to medium returns to be had elsewhere. Longer term (5-10yrs+) maybe, but thats a long time to tie money up with little or no returns.

If I still wanted to bet on the future I wouldn't put more than around 0.1% of my portfolio value in this stock, so if you have a portfolio of £500k I'd risk £500 and expect to leave it there for 10 years or until I could sell with my required returns. Personally I aim for a minimum of 6% per annum, sometimes I do far better than that, sometimes I don't. The trick is to accept not all investments give what you were hoping for, but pick a lot more winners than losers.

This I fear may be a loser, but of course I hope I'm wrong because at the moment I'm showing a loss, and you may see something in BHL that I don't.

It looks like AGR have accepted the offer from KKR

Its a shame, I've held PHP for quite a few years now and saw the merging of AGR with PHP as a good thing for both groups of shareholders.

I'm not so certain AGR shareholders will benifit from being under the US umbrella.

Hainan paid 0.5p per share.

At the time I thought since they would without doubt have more accountants, buisness people and experts to bring to bear on the deal than I or anyone else on this board, they must see some upside from that price.

As such I have been reasonably comfortable with my average on just over 13m shares.

Either the people at Hainan are a lot dumber than I thought, the current SP is disconnected from the true value, or something else is afoot.

I cannot begin to believe Hainan hadn't forecast just about any eventuality before deciding on their 0.5p price.

That leaves just the two options.

Regarding the 'something else', I don't believe the theory that Hainan are manipulating the SP with the intent to take over KMUK. It would make any conversations around future partnerships a little difficult to say the least, and if I know one thing about the Chinese they play the long game better than most.

I also don't think there is a lot of mercy shown to experts who are party to poor financial decisions, and buying into a business thats only worth 50% of what you paid for it must surely rank in the poor decision camp.

So while I'm far from happy, I will continue to hold and see how this plays out.

Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, 0.547p is my break even for 3 years of being in KOD.
