Ok suppose USA and the eu bans uranium mining and phases out nuclear power stations.

USA are free to carry on burning fossil fuels to generate electricity under Trump since he is a climate denier.

However, the eu are part of the Paris agreement and cannot fall back onto fossil fuels.

What are you offering as an alternative as a base load to the electric grid which is sustainable and reliable?

Will the people of Europe accept power black outs, energy rationing and extreme smart meter monitoring of their carbon footprint?

At the end of the day we either burn fossil fuels or use uranium for the base load of the electric grid.

As the article states China and India are going for nuclear and a lot depends on what the USA decides to do.
