Before my economy post just like to say I think Boris is doing OK so far in these trying times however I find it a little bit petty that he didn’t want to join the EU in sourcing ventilators ... I think a true statesman would have and at these times would take it on the shoulders about being called an hypocrite

Secondly I hope all my favourite posters are doing fine I know we are all getting older and although some young are affected it seems to have a penchant for the weak an elderly

Thirdly some good news .. I know we often see posters on here buying low and selling high all the time ... Well I will quickly share mine .. End of January Sky increased my Broadband by £16 a month without telling me because my contract had run out .. So for punishment I cancelled my sports multi room and cinema subscription with them saving £51 I’ve got two fire sticks which I’ve had a while very good other than picture quality I will live with that .. Now in hindsight a good move ..Second good news .. it was my birthday in February. I have challenged hair follicle syndrome but go and get a No2 every month costing £6 believed it or not my partner bought my some hair clippers for my birthday... Oh hindsight is a wonderful thing right now .. That’s £57 to the good

Now the economy.. I’ve just gone through my bank statement for last month before the CV crisis... I spent best part of £600 on things that I won’t be spending on this month ... Sky bet Costa coffee meals out and haircut:) to name a few things .... I should imagine across the country things will be the same ... The market is a bit buoyant at the moment with the stimulus but I suspect in a few weeks it will plummet to its lows again . When the death toll starts rising less and less will be spent and I fear now it will take longer for recovery

Anyway next question do I take a punt and buy just the basic flight tickets for £58 rtn to Fuerteventura in November and take it on the chin if it doesn’t happen or just add bags and seats near the time of flights if it’s a goer

Yesterday I learnt that a childhood friend of mine died at the age of 50 on Monday ... suspected CV19 ... No underlying health conditions but he did smoke ... Went home from the pub on Friday night saying he had a bit of a temperature and was having difficulty breathing and so went home to self isolate.He died Monday never contacting the NHS because they were too busy and thought like most he would be ok ...

Just remember at times like this it’s not about us has individuals which in today’s society is a very difficult thing . We may think we will be alright from CV19 and may well be right .. it’s the passing it on to other people who may not be

Sadly there are too many people in this country who will not take the governments advice and self isolate... In the western world our death rate will surpass China has our government and some people don’t really have much control ...

Take heed people who could happen in a street near you .... and for fùck sake stop buying toilet roll. It won’t help you

All governments may have a may coherent response to this disaster...Woeful at the moment... And then after 2 weeks they could suspend for another 2 weeks

No probs, even LTI is my friend now ( I think) in these dark days :):):):) Just Boomer now :):):) All computers should be turned off for 3 months now has we seemed to be hooked on this BB and force everyone to go out and spend money on toilet roll and paracetamol and hand sanitizer.... It’s going to be a difficult few months .... I work with vulnerable elderly people now who all have just been in hospital or have underlying health conditions... I’m sure we will be stopped from going in their houses soon and be made to stay at home ... I’m gutted has I have a weeks leave booked at the end of March which I will have to take when all the others who do the same job will be getting a free week .... I fit all these emergency alarms for the elderly and we have a massive contract with the Local Authority it’s so they can free hospital beds up we fit this equipment free on behalf of the council and do about 5000 a year for them ... I’ve already planted the seed of doubt in my bosses head saying that we could all become Typhoid Marys ... They are all now panicking at the top

I bet Rishi is amending his budget again on fuel duty ... with oil price crashing he can add an extra couple of pence more than what he was going to do on fuel duty ...... and maybe for OXO he can add a tax on our fish for the EU 1p per mackerel !!!

It amazes me that the great British public are taking heed of coronavirus ... supermarkets out of loo roll paracetamol wipes hand sanitizer long life milk etc .... what I can’t understand is that the government have been telling people smoking is bad for you eating too much and not exercising is bad for you taking drugs is bad for you and there are plenty out there who don’t take heed of any of it .... I think the government should be telling people cocaine and heroin is laced with corona virus we would stop our drug epidemic tomorrow and now with the info out there that diabetics are more prone to fatality with CV it may prompt them to change their ways ....

Have you ever tried getting information from other companies under GDPR ... Just try and you will find you get blocked in every direction... same happens to the police ... Fill in lengthy paperwork for each company and then have to wait fo a reply which is out of your hands ... The money has been pinged so many times that you just can’t catch up with it ... My suggestion would be to make banks more efficient in stopping money transfers ... There is no system for the police to contact a banks security departments and say freeze this account with immediate effect .... Your comments are glib and display a lack of knowledge as what information is required to pass any charging threshold and of course how that information was gathered IE using PACE
