Not sure how many of you have read front page of FT today but big Article about Phillip Morris International not being able to sell their Russian assets similar for BATS and IMB due to Kremlin Restrictions.. other company’s are mentioned who have been unable to sell and are just weathering it out .. If the big boys can’t get round it then EUA have no chance .. Keep your heads down and let’s hope in the next 6 months both parties get tired of stalemate and then ceasefire can begin or that Ukraine can make a break through to force Putins hand

LLOY next no doubt a drop … not read HSBC but BARC and NWG had a “but” there I accept BARC was self inflicted but I just think if MTRO aren’t spot on or better then there 20/30p here because it’s MTRO

Depends on LLOY and NWG for me .. UK based banks if they are stellar than we could see a big rise also see what they are setting aside for bad debt .. but all good at LLOY and NWG I’m going for 165/170

Usually on results day MTRO plummet because they have been dire .. Going down from the £5 cash raise price to a low of 60p … I’m hoping that the best creative RNS writer is employed for these results ..half reasonable results with a good forward looking statement could see MTRO going up another 20/30p and I’m with JJ possibly £2 by year end … However this is MTRO and positivity is an unknown territory

I suspect the Russian backed militants killed more civilians in one day on the downing of MH317 than the Ukrainians did in 8 years ..Also I’m not sure if you have seen the news over the last year but the destruction of civilian dwellings hospitals schools and energy infrastructure has caused far more suffering to the Ukrainian population than the skirmish that was going on in the Donbas which was mostly military on military
